Wasn't there something in the news recently about transgendered people having free access to feminine hygiene products?

Clown world.

Oh dude, I was watching some clips from Tom Segura’s podcast and occasionally they go through his wife’s TikTok vids, which she has an uncanny ability to find the worst of the worst on there. One video was this female teenager saying, “This is how a woman deals with her period.”, she has a tampon in her hand and motions for it to go where it needs to go, then says “This is how a transgender woman deals with her period.”, makes the same motion then says, “IT’S THE SAME DAMN THING!!!!”

My wife, who only sees the good in people to the point she’d be considered a liberal by ATS standards, froze for about 3 seconds then said, “NO. YOU F*CKING IDIOT IT IS NOT THE SAME F*CKING THING!! IS HE STICKING IT UP HIS ASS?!?!? IS HIS ASS BLEEDING?!?!? ARE THE WALLS OF HIS COLON SHEDDING??!?!”

As for the whole spots thing; just let it all play out. It won’t take too long before enough parents get sick of their daughter’s losing all motivation to be involved in sports, or the first time someone gets seriously hurt due to being overpowered.

I’m just glad I don’t have kids. F*ck that. I’ve got several transgender friends who transitioned YEARS ago and see a lot of this stuff now as way over the top. They learned how to adapt to life well before this became a big SJW thing. I’m all for equal rights, as a libertarian, I don’t feel *I* can be free to do as I please (within the context of our laws/rights) if someone else can’t, because there’s nothing stopping me from being restricted if the shoe was on another foot. That said, there needs to be some f*cking logic with all of this.

People are much more open and accepting or at the very least, simply don’t give a sh*t one way or the other. But I’d imagine after a couple years of girls getting beaten by trans-girls and it’s going to create contempt, especially if it has to be silenced. They’ll end up creating exactly what they don’t want unless they apply some logic to the situation.

Some much talk about competing, I'm more concerned about pubescent kids sharing changing rooms and showers at school 😐 Not good!

This is something I can see concern for, for sure. Especially in the context of gender fluidity (from what I think that means, anyway...). If a dude comes into school one day, looking exactly like he did every other day, and says “I feel like a girl today.”, then the next day he’s back to feeling like a boy again, do they just keep switching locker rooms?

I was never very concerned with the whole public bathroom thing with adults because I think a twisted f*ck is going to be a twisted f*ck regardless of how they go about it, but high school dudes? At some point there’s going to be some dudes that will take the piss out of it just to see if they could get in the girl’s locker room. I’d LOVE to know how the schools are going to deal with stuff like that.

One of Biden's first Executive Orders appears non-discriminatory on the surface. Who wouldn't read it and think it's a good thing to treat all people with dignity and respect. But, a closer evaluation closes the door on any discussion regarding transgender male-to-female participation in girl's competitive sports.

Section 1. Policy. Every person should be treated with respect and dignity and should be able to live without fear, no matter who they are or whom they love. Children should be able to learn without worrying about whether they will be denied access to the restroom, the locker room, or school sports. Adults should be able to earn a living and pursue a vocation knowing that they will not be fired, demoted, or mistreated because of whom they go home to or because how they dress does not conform to sex-based stereotypes. People should be able to access healthcare and secure a roof over their heads without being subjected to sex discrimination. All persons should receive equal treatment under the law, no matter their gender identity or sexual orientation.

If you have a daughter competing in school sports, she will be competing with males who identify as females. Case closed.

we all remember all the poor misfit children lined up up from our classrooms being denied access to the bathroom for being “different” oh wait.

There's already been an instance of someone being seriously hurt. They let a transgender into female MMA, and she destroyed her opponent so badly the woman needed facial reconstruction.

Yeah...topsport...lost in translation...it is the common term in my language for high intensity training. Performing at the maximum level your body will allow.

Like i said before, I used to train 5 times a week for 3 hours straight and that isn't even a lot when compared to somebody who actually has a sponsor and is allowed more time to train.

I don't need to link you a study about the difference between fitness and health, just goigle it, it's common knowledge.

Many top athletes are fit but unhealthy.

Knowing this isn't healthy you can question the ethics of giving school children an incentive to do just that.

Peace

Yeah, but it takes rare drive to get anywhere near to being in that category.

Statistically, only 2% of high school kids are going to college, and then only about the same percentage go on to the level you're talking about.

At high school levels, you're still in the range of being healthy. College is where the tipping point starts to happen, but if you have the drive to do it, then you have the drive and who should tell someone not to go to those lengths if that's what they want?

You are just being a silly drama queen. Many jobs are far more unhealthy and dangerous than collegiate sports .. so wouldnt paying for college with a sports scholarship be the safer healthier option? And.. omgosh its so evil to incentivize ppl to do these jobs by paying them right??

Additionally, I had a few teammates in college who would not have gone to college or gotten through it without the structure, monetary, and academic support afforded them through the student athlete program. They went on to graduate, and not all with "soft option" degrees (at least one was pre-med).

I know the popular view of student athletes is that they're just there to play and don't go to class, but there are actually a decent number who do take advantage of the opportunity to get out of their previous life circumstances and use it to get into a middle class or better life with a solid education and degree.

The vast majority understand they wont make a living playing a sport and are there for the education. My daughter got an athletic scholarship, 4.0 student.. many of the ppl at the top of both her highschool and university clases are student athletes.

Kids involved with sports tend to do better academically, not worse.

Yeah, that certainly would have been an ideal time to call a time out on everything!

ANd understand, I more than a lot understand the drive to want to compete, but there's a reason why there are so many rules about what athletes can and cannot put into their bodies, what equipment they can and cannot use, etc. Those rules are there to ensure as much as possible that we are competing using the tools nature gave us and without being able to unfairly advantage those tools one way or another.

A male body is a huge and unfair tool when used against most female bodies. There is a reason why the East German women destroyed their competition for so many years using those male steroids.

Here's a report on the research about performance.

After a year of treatment, hormones can reduce a man's strength by 5%, but it's not enough.

Men have a greater performance advantage over women in cricket, golf and tennis compared to sports such as running or swimming according to new research, which also finds that testosterone blockers taken by transgender women only minimally reduce the biological advantage underpinning performance.

The study, published in Sports Medicine, found that while elite men are around 10-13% faster than elite women at running and swimming, the gap is between 29% and 52% when it comes to bowling cricket balls, hitting long drives, weightlifting and in sports that generally rely more on muscle mass and explosive strength.

Trans women retain 12% edge in tests two years after transitioning, study finds

“Performance differences larger than 20% are generally present when considering sports and activities that involve extensive upper body contributions,” the study adds. “The gap between fastest recorded tennis serve is 20%, while the gaps between fastest recorded baseball pitches and field hockey drag flicks exceed 50%.”

A 5% decrease is not enough to make a significant enough difference in the innate advantage to being male to level the playing field between transmen and women.

What's worse the Obama/Biden administration forced millions of female children and women, many whom have been raped by men and even by trans-sexual males, have been forced to share their bathrooms, locker rooms, etc...

There have been laws before Obama/Biden that protected trans-sexuals. No one should without reason beat up trans people. But these laws are allowing many pervert men and men claiming to be women to be able to harass, and target little girls and women for their perverted activities in bathrooms, lockers rooms when little girls and women are least protected...

Yet more and more laws are being implemented that protects perverts from women and little girls.

Next they will have to put cameras in all bathrooms, locker rooms, etc to see whether or not a pervert was harassing, peeking and/or attempting to rape little girls and/or women while "claiming to be a woman inside..."

Really?... If the socialist, former democrat, leaders were able to use lies for years to go after a presidential candidate and later even a POTUS and his administration using lies to criminalize them you don't think the socialist government of Biden/Harris can do the same to regular Americans?...

This is the same recycled "World Ending" thought process that happens in some corners of the right. It happened during legalizing marijuana debate and here we are many years later where almost all state have some type of law from decriminalized to medical access and the sky hasn't fallen. Same thing with LGBT in the military, same thing with gay marriage, same thing with blacks in the military. All had "World Ending" type narratives attached to it by some on the right and yet we still are here and the world has not come to end.

It is destroying sports like cycling, track & field, and MMA where guys in drag are far stronger than females...

It is a serious issue.

There is a reason you don't see gay women competing with men.... women are simply not as strong as men. However, you see gay men dominating women. What is crazy is some of these guys were mediocre mens competitors before they transitioned and now are "champions".

Exactly , those cunning Williams brothers were never more than pennant finalists in tennis !

If you qre a guy, that can not win against other men, and then decide to pretend to be a girl to win, you should be pig piled in the locker room.

I think we are going to see an expansion of women's sports on the club level. And in private religious schools.
I live in a small town and we have a sports complex that rivals the biggest high schools. So there will be alternate leagues outside of school sports.
There is a downside to club sports and that is they tend to be all star teams. The kid with average athletic ability will probably be still stuck in a school program.

Completely different.

The premise of many competitive sports, which as already mentioned include huge financial opportunities for the winners, is the physical skill of the athlete as compared to other competitors of the same biological sex.

None of your examples are analogous to that. Nothing prevents these male-to-female transgendered athletes from competing in male sports.

What is happening here, is the notion that sports don't need to be segregated at all. In other words, no more female competitions for anything.

Then stop monetizing competitive sports and pay them to do something useful when they aren't kicking a ball or whatever.

This actually brings up a separate issue not related to gender identity but concerning the practice of paying athletes up to $25 million a year. That's just one salary, not even a whole team. Gender politics aside that is a disgusting wage to pay someone for kicking a ball while teachers, doctors, and law enforcement get peanuts for providing essential service to our nation.

Kamala, is that you?
