I am watching a drama series titled 'Finding Alice' in which Alice's partner dies.
Alice decides to take him home and bury him in the garden.
Alice and daughter buy a cardboard coffin and paint it together.
Alice even digs the grave.

Since I was an innocent tyke when this came out, it never occurred to me that this wasn't a religious piece, but was instead a ten minute ode to copulation.

But jeepers, those guys could construct novel, catchy arrangements (or "borrow" them from the black soul work) and play. They saturate the genre, but they were overplayed for a reason.
