The last year was a bad one for me... I had to re-arrange my life a few times and then at the end of the year had to go through my wife passing away.

I have always been passionate about life, be it business, relationships, friendships, hobbies, or just fun.

I am not longer passionate about the internet, this site, any site, politics, none of it.

I'm going back to being passionate about my life.

This is not my writing but my friends and frenemies on here, at least take the time to read it.

Who honors those for the very life we live.

Who sends monsters to kill us.

And at the same time sings songs that we will never die.

Who teaches us what is real and how to laugh at lies.

Who decides why we live and what we will die to defend.

Who chains us and who holds the key that will set us free.

It's you.

For those who have loved me on here, I'm going feral but I love you too and will miss you.

For those who hated me on here, rejoice.

As all of us go forwards as a country, please remember.

It all starts and ends with you.

All of it.

Good Lord, Lumin...I had no idea.
I'm so sorry you've lost your wife.

I've been where you are now...and I know about the loss of passion for life.
I was there for many years.
I became self-indulgent and completely out of touch with everything outside my direct orbit.
This was not entirely a bad thing.
There were some rich experiences in that time...but I lost much too...friends among them.
Grief is strange.
We grow, too, through loss...but it's very awkward growth.

I’ve never been “passionate” about the internets, but I do like to come here and read opinions and rebuttals to what’s being forced down our throats politically. Then there’s the fun stuff like ufos, aliens, rogue comets, doom porn and biblical foreshadowing.

You Ma’am have always been a “cool kid” around here. It adds legitimacy to a thread when you see Lum chiming in.

I’m really sorry to hear about your wife. If I remember right y’all are kinda out in the country and I know it’s easy to cut yourself off from the world. Don’t do that, you’re a star. Take time to heal, and hopefully we’ll see you again. Here or there.

Nice to have met you...well, I actually never really met you but I have heard what you wrote here. Good luck, and I hope you can find someone again to fill up your life. So sad about your wife passing away. You had a bad year. Good luck.

Shouldn't you wait for about two months before trying to get things together, kind of nothing happening because of Covid right now. It should pick up in a few months, social everything came to pretty much of a halt here anyway.

Feel for your loss, I dare not say I feel sorry for your loss, I absolutely hate that way of speaking but it does not do it justice either.

Instead I will say, with as much care and love as I can, kick the f**king # outta the rest of your life!

There is a shadow side to us all, and if you have not already done so, soak yourself in it and if you have done, soak it all up and be as you are...

Because the truth is, we are all absolutely yet taught to believe otherwise...

I wish you all the best, you will come back when you are ready possibly and that too is alright... don't exercise yourself too much into the wilderness. Not good for the soul if you belong to places.

Regardless just...

BE!

PS: we are all going to die anyways and as horrible as it sounds ive lost seven close people to me like this and surviving it will help you mate. Its shocking but later it will help you. Sorry for saying that but I was furious when people would not do a thing they said they would when doing the self-jerk "if you need anything just ask"... you are not alone is what I am saying in other words.

Take care Lum.. I'm so sorry. I sent you a pm a few days ago. I hope you find passion ,simplicity, grandeur and laughter in life again. Soon things will be growing again and it will be time to work in the sun and dirt. Ground yourself in the healing Earth. I hope you come back to us.

So sorry for your loss, I know a woman of your character and intelligence will find a way to turn this into something positive. Godspeed, your voice will be missed...

Nothing lasts that doesn't also change. Godspeed on this rediscovered path.

The best parts of you have never cared about those things and they we're never real passion, just surrogates. Your life is where your passion belongs.

Stay strong Lumi, I feel with you.

Don't loose your spirit and do not forget to look after yourself.

I've learned lessons from you, thank you for that.

I'm sorry for your loss, I hope you find the peace you deserve. When things get sh!tty, find a coast, and watch the sun do it's thing. That seems to put things in perspective quicker than an other way for me. Stay safe.
