You’re here talking about it

I'm here mocking and ridiculing it.

Looks like it worked. That’s good advertising.

If it worked, I'd be scheduling a flight on their airline.

I don't think the ad was directed at right wing covid deniers. It was targeted to lure the people that are concerned
about flying in an enclosed environment; a perfect breeding ground for all kinds of nasties.

Doesn't really matter what carrier you chose it's a health gamble even in the best of times.

As P.T. Barnum once said, "I don't care what the newspapers say about me as long as they spell my name right." This has also been attributed to several other people as well, including Mayor Daley of Chicago. So yeah, it DID work, and you, brother, are helping to spread the word. Alaska Airlines, the one you should pick. And if ATS people don't, nobody cares! Congratulations for contributing to their campaign.

The old concept of "any publicity is good publicity" goes way back to Oscar Wilde. He was joking.

The logic of some comments here is weird. Like, whoa! The jokes on me, because I'm discussing a commercial.
The commercial "worked". HaHa!

So I'm somehow supporting Alaska Airlines simply because I discussed a commercial?
Am I recommending them to others? No.
Am I saying they're a good company? No.

If a film is released, and critics trash it and warn viewers not to see it, is that good? It's publicity, isn't it?
If a dozen food critics say a restaurant is terrible, isn't that also publicity? So it's actually good for their business?

A private company doing whatever they want with their advertising campaign. Nothing worth getting triggered about.

Yes, that's what they did. Alaska Airlines, a private company, made an advertising campaign.
That's what the thread was about. You're very astute.

Nothing worth getting triggered about.

The only thing that's triggering me are the idiotic comments.
