Someone could be asymptomatic & spreading it too. And now they said that even after you have the vaccine you can still give it to someone else. 🙄

An elderly friend of ours passed away three weeks ago. She had Covid first & then developed Guillain-Barre. It was only in her legs at first, then moved up to her diaphragm. She had to be put in ICU & intubated. But she wasn’t before that. She died a few hours later. I’d love to know how it’s listed on the death certificate! 😢

Glad you are feeling better now.
May i ask you, how was your blood sugar levels during it. My son is type 1 diabetic too, and whenever he is sick and has fever he needs a lot more insulin, usually 50-70% more. How you managed to keep your diabetes in control during the hard days?

We also have one sick with covid at work place, she/he is now in guarantine, we don´t know who this person is, we all have been tested and being negative. As a nurse, these things do happen but i would hate to bring this disease home..

Maybe you should do PROPHYLAXIS TREATMENT to make more certain you don't spread it to others.

I'm glad you survived, and your symptoms sound typical to those reported by friends of mine who became sick.

If you were tested by way of PCR test, you may as well have tossed a coin. They are notoriously unreliable and inaccurate. You may have had the flu.

First of all, I'm sorry to hear you have a child with this condition.

Secondly it's the same for me, when I get sick my blood sugar rises and I need more insulin too.

The higher blood sugar levels could have been triggering my hunger as well, which lead to a cycle of lots of insulin. Which was fine with me. I could see how the fatigue could make somebody not want to monitor their levels as closely and it could cause problems that way, but when I feel like death I do tend to check my levels more frequently. I also didn't stop eating because my levels were high. I ate what I wanted and took more insulin and accepted that my levels would be a little higher than usual at times and made sure they didn't go too high.

Never heard of that treatment but I have been taking extra vitamins, 1 emergen-c packet a day. I think it has helped.

You'd think you could sue the jackass that was sick knowingly and came in.

Alnost everyone atmy job, got sick with the Rona, but most of them were all at once - there was nobody anyone could point to having come to work "sick."

I blame closed air environments with too many people (i.e. weekly meetings with 25 people packed into a small office.) Masks on, didn't matter.

Thanks.

Should I really wait until I test negative to go back, is that the proper way? I never heard of that until the other day from a fellow coworker who also tested positive. But it does make sense.

I'd say wait until the recommended time has passed. Because of the sensitivity of the test, you could continue to have positive tests for up to three months now even though you've long since gotten over it. Your body could continue to shed just fragments of the virus, not enough to make you or anyone else sick for quite a while, and the PCR test is sensitive enough to detect those rendering a false positive.
