While watching the pro trump rally yesterday, the police were very tough with the pro trump crowd and very protective of antifa and BLM.

Why is this?

BLM and anitfa physically attack cops and chant die pig die, or the only good cop is a dead cop.

Yesterday a group of anitfa were being pushed around and the cops run in front of the few anitfa members and protect them.
Then they are escorted out.

Now when trump supporters show up to an antifa rally the cops never stop anitfa from attacking.

Years ago I was watching from a high rise for hours as anitfa were assaulting anyone in their way..
Ripping people from cars, attacking people with flags all while a group of police watched from a corner. Beating victims would walk up to the cops and were barely helped.

Then 2 trucks of 20 men roll up to confront antifa , they came out with sticks and were beating antifa back.

This is when the police come running up, literally stand in front of anitfa to protect them and then start shooting the other men with pepper balls.

It was beyond weird.

In nyc they dump water on cops heads, throw stuff at police and the retaliation is weak.

Want to see a strong police presence, its when they want to shut down a restaurant.

So weird

I would venture to say the police feel that protecting the pro-trump guys by enforcing the law and preventing them from breaking laws is still felt to be in their jurisdiction. Whereas when Antifa or BLM act it is out of their hands because the two groups behave more like enemy combatants and are not in their jurisdiction to intervene.

Just a theory but I suspect many departments have made it a matter of policy only to intervene when it's possible to protect and serve folks that are considered Americans and not terrorists.

Take for example a BLM shoots and kills someone would get barely a mention except among those that follow it closely. One of these Trumpsters kill someone and it will be national news for months with widespread rioting.

During a communist revolution, individuals, groups and government officials all have to decide if they want to expose themselves and be purged.

It's a simple matter of self-preservation.

What's the deal with the police?

Their hands are tied by the socialist/communist/fascist leaders in their states .

Once conservative opinion goes against law and order

Once they see law and order is anything other than a two-way street

Once they get past their fear of killing the first human being

Once they realize that thin blue line is extremely thin

Once the thin blue line realizes it's vulnerable

Once the thin blue line realizes they're exposing their loved ones to risk

Once they realize the mayor/governor thinks of them as pawns

Once that paycheck/pension means nothing

Years ago, cops were known for dressing in black, going to protests and starting fight/smashing windows.

This is still a standard tactic, but now people are too divided to notice that they are being conquered, and too wrapped up in anger to even care.

When no one understands what's happening in their country
anymore. It's likely because it isn't their country anymore.

Eventually I imagine it will come down to most sheriffs good, most city police depts. bad. But then, sheriffs are elected by the people and police depts are run by City Hall in almost every case.

At least round S./W./N of the 'D".

Be glad we got police....or there'd be bodies in the streets....

Is that why the only dead people so far have been shot by ANTIFA?

Dishonorably retired?

There are bodies in the streets.

We had one laying in the street a month ago for a day. Well, 11 hours, till an ambulance decided to cart her off.

Keep overfunding the police and equipping them with military grade hardware. I’m sure that’ll fix everything.

So, honest answer to an honest question that I have been wanting to ask for a while. I am replying to you but also to anyone out there who has thoughts.

How do you know, without doubt, that it's BLM/Antifa out there causing havoc? How can you say it's not just pissed off people that aren't organized in some group or other? Mob mentality doesn't need to be organised, it's the exact opposite.

There's nothing going on here like that in Vegas but if I did go out to protest whatever I ain't part of any group. Heck, I don't even have a party allegiance as they are both corrupt. So how can you tell me it's all one group or the other?

If the conservatives lose it there will be a lot of dead antifa. They trust the conservatives to heed the police if they interfere, but they do not trust Antifa and BLM. They are trying to keep the Trump supporters from being arrested for something serious if they lose their cool against the radicals in Antifa and BLM. They do not want to have to arrest anyone for a major crime when they are supporting the law enforcement.

If I was a cop, I would try to suppress the good people from getting locked up too.

A Time When Police Went Under State Control

Kansas City's police dept. is a relic of Prohibition Era organized crime and City Hall corruption in the country. It's under a state government appointed board instead of directly under the control of City Hall. It may be one reason why the cops here have been less likely to take a kid gloves, hands off approach to any crap the Blac Block boys have tried to start.

Our city council can push through funding measures, but they cannot directly order them to stand down.

In some places, we may be reaching a time where this sort of measure could be necessary in order to prevent a hands off approach pushed by mayors sympathetic with the Blac Block.

*Also, this piece is not at all sympathetic with the idea that our police are not under City Hall's control, but it does go into the reasons why that control was removed -- organized crime, City Hall political machines, and naked corruption with cops*
