Ask yourself - what is normal life? Are we living a normal life?

I would contend we are not. No one can move freely, shop freely, interact with others freely. We're being kept in a constant state of fear over a disease that isn't really any worse to the majority of us than the annual flu.

Look at they are proposing handling the vaccination for this -- carrying a card to prove you've been vaccinated, possibly linking a stimulus payment to your getting the shot which amounts to bribing people to get the shot ... again all over a disease that doesn't even make most people who have it ill in any appreciable way.

Our so-called betters are acting like we have an outbreak of the Black Death going on and that we have to daily put our dead on carts pulled through the streets, but that isn't the case. Has anyone noticed they barely talk about deaths any more? Nope. It's mostly about the numbers of "cases" which can mean anything from someone who isn't at all ill to someone deathly ill, but they never mention those percentages because *that* would provide perspective.

It's a power game and control trip, and if you're smart, you start asking yourself why instead of sniping at everyone else who is already asking themselves the same thing.
