Both put their ideologies before people and planet By definition this psychopathic political ideologies. At the opposite end of the spectrum are empathetic political ideologies. Spot on, it did work well in Europe however, Western Europe that is until the 80's came along (you lived through it so you know but for others that did not or are not from here).

In our system it was NOT a communist government but a more or less democratic government in the UK and our particular mix of socialism and capitalism was working great until both the Extreme Right Tory's and the foreign Communists working through there proxy MILITANT destroyed our system, caused mass strikes (really at there worse in the 70's and those in the 80's were at least partially justified) on the part of the Commies and sold off our national assets on the part of the TORY's, BOTH ARE AS BAD AND AS EVIL AS ONE ANOTHER.

But for well over 30 years it bloody worked and it worked great, no true homelessness since we had council housing and everyone had the right to a house, subsidised industry's to help us compete with the rest of the world (The EU is terrified of us subsidising our industry in the future once we are out) and a social safety net, comprehensive health care for every person - no two track system as we have today with private health insurance today being given priority even though we in fact PAY for our health service and it rightly BELONGS to us.

China though is very different, they do not value human life like we do, not talking on a person by person level but as a society.

The State is not GOD, it is not Mother and it is not Father it is a group of people most of whom have never met one another and a tiny group of people living very well off from the sweat and toil of the rest of them called the Party.

At least in our System we get a choice of which crook we put into power they are not foisted onto us by corrupt bent officials (most of the time but the US are wondering if that very thing is currently happening to them).


And then there is China STEALING other people's territory, POACHING (STEALING) Other peoples fish not even leaving the fry so the fish will become extinct from what they are doing and worse.

Your PARTY killed millions of your people in the so called Cultural Revolution, they Turned to Cannibalism to feed themselves and there are many tales that this is still going on in China to this day and I quite believe them, the starvation of your cultural revolution when MAO killed off the hardest working and poorest of your people the uneducated farmers forcing them from the land is well documented, that is not communism that is as bad as Pol Pot.


Here is the simple truth, ALL POLITICIANS are # HEADS, the rest of us really don't have much of say but at least we can try to do something about that in the west, over there in China if you ask for a say in who governs you the tank's will roll over you and crush your body flat.


Oh and lets not forget prisoners imprisoned so the PARTY can sell there internal organs for transplant's, forced sterilization of non HAN minority's and worse.

China really is quite nationalistic and chauvinistic. I've read some translations of Chinese internet postings when it comes to matters involving the US, India, Vietnam, and Japan, as well as other countries that challenge China, like Australia in recent days..and let me just note it ain't pretty. Tens of thousands of posts spewing jingoistic hard-core invective and "China Uber Allies" sentiments...they really have resurrected a kind of National Socialism...concentration camps and all.

It really depends on what you are making a judgement on.

China is proof that a dictatorship can maintain power through repression of thought and complete state control, within a wrapper of shocking human rights. In a couple of decades the Chinese will be robots from birth to death. In the so-called "dying" West at least people will be allowed to think without being incarcerated and re-educated.

People who think China is a success needs to ask a Tibetan, or a Hong Konger, or just anyone who thinks the CCP is a force for evil.

Chinese hegemony has been on in the agenda, certain Westerns entitys helped China to become what it is now, so taking that in to account.....West helped to create Chinas hegemony . And the technology stealing from products that were from Western R & D...Western capitalist helped China, and consumers from West that buy China made products helped China. Without the help from Western countrys, China would not in current position IMO.

Our Left Wing (at least in Europe) would never have sent our Job's to China.

That ROT got to it's utmost level's in the late 1980's and reached terminal levels by the early 2000's as more and more of our industry moved to China, I have no problem with Japan or Taiwan or anywhere else but God did China play those greedy prick's for suckers, they ruined OUR nations to build up a nation that was the exact opposite of there own ideology, in fact they even suckered Japan, South Korea and even Taiwan into building factory's in China a mistake they are now bitterly regretting but at least for them the cost of relocating to there own nations is far cheaper than it is for western business - if still not cheap by any mean's since they have all invested trillions into China, it's infrastructure and built custom plant's all over that nation which the CCP is now taking full advantage of.

The US right wing on the other hand today seems to at least be intent on reversing this damage but that may go full U turn if Biden takes office.

I dont know about the right or left wing side about this, i do have some memorys that under Obama there was quite often news about how Chinas cyber espionage/agents were stealing high tech from usa , maybe this was also on news under Bush and Clinton administration ?

So if biden will be in office, will the stealing start again with larger magnitude ?

They have stolen from everyone and were doing it for a long time even before the CCP decided to do it at the international espionage level, cloned computers, games consoles etc and then of course they broke into and stole the specifications for military hardware, the most brazen act as the illegal seizure and reverse engineering of a US spy plane they then gave back but only after they had looted it for technology and broken on return to the US under Obama's term if I remember.
