You may bite but I won't.

We are all God's creation but We are not all children of God.

For the sake of not derailing the thread I will let it stand there. I understand where you are coming from and I respect your viewpoint because I know that it comes from a sincere place that strives for salvation through compassion and love and forgiveness.

There are "psychological consequences" to everything.
And I believe: if people are willing to kill for you, they should get everything they need to be comfortable. Soldiers are where you can see how much your "state" values their own.

But the answer can't be to lock yourself in. We need global cooperation for the big hurdles.

I'm glad that you added "Guaranteed Dignity."

Dignity is perhaps the least recognized human necessity that is missing from contemporary society. Lack of dignity is highly debilitating to both individuals and societies, but few recognize the terrible way it has slowly been drained from us.

This is an exceptionally good point that doesn’t get enough discussion, in my view.

Any time there’s an observation like this, my mind immediately goes to “why?” and/or “how” did this happen?

My view is modern liberalism removes dignity by having none. If you can riot without consequences, hide in a cowardly way, live life without consequences... there is no dignity left as there’s no “shame in the game”.

People are also conditioned broadly with an “I can’t” mentality - which means the dignity that is their own capabilities is removed.

There really isn’t much dignity left in much... at this point.

I live in between Capitalism in the west and communism in the east , we are the bastard child so to speak Socialism life is not as hard and has a bigger safety net but over the last 2 decades it has been badly eroded by those on the take who get big payments in Swiss bank accounts for the chaos they sow with their political policies , they brought in private enterprise to run contracts like grass cutting , maintenance etc and paid off state employees which has resulted in jobs been half done and very badly at that with no oversight and nice brown envelopes for the ones awarding the contracts

I have been walking round my area with a camera looking and taking pictures at the decay , things are falling apart , the only way to shame them is to put it out to a vast audience on facebook and hit them with a freedom of information request of expenditure for the last 30 years .

I know these things it was once my job to look after contracts and labour ! and it was done well !

They have no idea what is coming their way in 2021 , i will point out WE THE PEOPLE OWN THESE AREAS THEY MANAGED THEM BADLY FOR US PLUS THIS 4X2 WOULD LIKE TO SEE WHERE ALL THE MONEY WAS SPENT OVER THE DECADES !!!

And i am really really good at numbers games and the work i did 30 years ago in my area is still looking ok but it has never been touched since ? so where did the bucks go

The brown stuff is going to hit the fan when i kick off

Rights that take things from others or infringe on others are not rights at all.

Right to life - a personal right

Right to health care - takes money and freedoms from others. Eg. who’s going to pay for this? Why do I have to wear a motorcycle helmet?

Right to freedom - a personal right

Right to housing - who’s going to pay for it? Why should I work hard and buy my own house?

Right to defend yourself - a personal right

Right to wealth and happiness - who’s going to pay? Who’s going to be forced to make you happy?

Right to believe what you want - a personal right.

A right isn’t something you are given by someone rights are something you are born with.
