Voting Members Of The Electoral College Are People With Opinions Too

While members of the Electoral College—with the exception of Maine and Nebraska—are pledged to vote for the highest vote getter in their state, most states do nothing to stop them from breaking that pledge.

The point is if you are one of these people you might have seen enough evidence that your State vote was compromised, you might feel as an American you have to do something about it. And that something could be not to cast a vote for either candidate, which mean neither would get to 270.
This would trigger the one vote per State reaction.
I would go so far to say that Trump should offer protection to any Electoral College member that needs to vote their conscience.

But before they vote they should review some websites to get informed.

Again, federal law sets a deadline for electors to meet in their states and vote for president and vice president.
The Monday after the second Wednesday in December – Dec. 14 this year – is the date the electors will meet.

27 States have laws requiring them to vote for the highest vote getter of that state.

And maybe the states allowed to vote with their conscience will realise Trump is trying to dupe everyone and that he needs to go.

And they could rightfully challenge the validity of the "highest vote" due to the massive anomalies this election.

Thus Trump needs to get out in front and guarantee them a presidential pardon if they vote their conscience, saving them from any legal prosecution from any laws on the books.

They choose people that are super loyalists to the party.

Biden chose his electors.
Trump chose his.

Whoever wins the pop vote is the person who's electors get to vote.

It was. Ruled on in July based on the 2016 election.

Their ruling was that states 'can' require the EC to follow the popular vote. However, there is nothing in the Constitution that states they have to. Interpretation.

The EC used to be tied directly to state legislature but his was changed and has been unchallenged for over 200 years.

“When the Constitution is silent, authority resides with the States or the people,” Thomas wrote.

Close to being a moot point...since this will be the last election to use the electoral voting system.
Kamala will be in, pack the court, pull the plug on that problematic electoral system, and the coastal regions of the US will subjugate the fly-over country.
