So let me make this perfectly #ing clear, It's not okay to update the machines before the election but only immediately after with accusations of fraud in the air.

This election is stolen.

Where's the war? Lets start murdering each other. (hyperbolic)

Got to laugh - why in the world would data need to be 'wiped'.
Surely all the data is backed up - there should be no need to wipe data permanently.

The only reason for wiping data is to cover up and prevent any forensic analysis of that data.

Come on, its just an election- that has to be at least 2 terabytes of valuable storage space (almost $100 worth!) across the country - enough for one average family to store a few years worth of pics and phone videos!

“Defendants are ordered to maintain the status quo & are temporarily enjoined from wiping or resetting any voting machines in the State of Georgia until further order of the court,” Judge Timothy Batten wrote in an emergency order issued Nov. 29.

The judge reversed the order not long after, explaining that the defendants are not in possession of the machines.

Georgia is supposed to wipe the data for the recount on Monday. But Atlanta decided to start early, and already wiped it. Go figure.

And Fulton county is reporting a software update is being pushed out.

The state owns the voting machines and GA secretary is in charge of the machines... The secretary is listed as a defendent. How is the defendant not in possession of the machines?

Cover up.

UPDATE
The same judge has again changed his order, this time allowing a 10 day injunction, preventing data from being wiped.

However, they will have the printouts from the machines (I've worked as judge and had these machines) that were taken the night of the election. Three copies are made and the judge keeps one so that if there's ever a question about what the county reports, the judge can present their sealed envelopes with the original printout tapes.

We have to keep them for two years.

They will also have the printouts from the voter terminals (so... one from the check-in terminal, one from the voting counter terminal (which is the Dominion machine.) )

There's at least 3 copies made and the judges (who ran each polling place) have a copy of what went on at their polling place. These are printouts. These records are kept (here in Texas) for 2 years.

Why are they doing a data wipe in the first place? Do they have another election coming up and need the “space?” What is their reason given for seeking to wipe that data?

Either another recount, or in preparation for the runoff in January. Theyd never admit to a cover up. Lol

The governor of Georgia is in deep doo-doo.

Apparently he has not read Sidney Powell's lawsuit against him yet.
