Pumpkin Patch National Guard

I found this interesting. I have a family member who lives in the mountains, very rural, more cows than people. The family went to a pumpkin patch yesterday where the national guard was there to enforce "The Rules"-must wear your mask and distancing, out in the pumpkin patch? In the middle of bum f*uck nowhere? I am confused as to their presence especially in that rural area. Anyone else had a similar experience?

If you are in NY,NJ,MI,IL, I will believe you. I am sure the governors there would totally do such a thing.

They were looking for the Blumpkin Patch. I think the National Guard gets called about these people every year and they finally caught them.

Laugh all you want but the National Guard ie. the "amateur army" on the street?????
They had the same people, the Brown Shirts ie the "amateur army" on the streets in another country and see where that led. It sounds silly don't it but it could be the thin edge of the wedge.

My "silence" was because I worked a 12 hour shift yesterday and had no time to even look at ATS. I posted shortly before I left for the day, sorry. I have no pictures. I put this in general chit chat for that particular reason. I'm just chit chatting and curious if any other country folk have witnessed the same.

Charlie Brown, because Lucy told him Halloween had been postponed.

My mistake. The trip was on Saturday, Halloween afternoon. I'm on a new work schedule and my days are a bit off. I didn't hear of this until Sunday (day after Halloween) and posted yesterday morning which was Monday.
