I felt something like this for much of my life.

I don't any longer.

Quiet here now, so why not.

Surely you know, that hardly 1 person in 1 million knows
any of that kundalini legend you shared there...

Well, actually, no I didn't.

Kundalini lore is actually a dangerous trap, as 'She'
is the mother of poison and deception. Even 'her'
own lore is full of it.

. . . and Sophia of Gnostic lore has very sharp claws.

To use a metaphor.. when I sit for a longer period of time with my wife, i'm a different being, she's a different being.

I like your metaphor, I think it so when we have a non-standard-intellegence or two sharing our plumbing. As you say KPB; we would change them, and they us. But like any good marriage; everyone has to learn to compromise in order to get along with each other.

Learning to live together within the confined space we call a consciousness is not easy.

To gaze into her tear filled eyes is one of the saddest things. Tears born of the grief they have caused us. Within those red and swollen eyes is the knowledge that there is no turning back; only looking forward as wiser partners.

Utterly lovely.

But are we full partners?

Or just sex toys for the greater life?

I ask myself this.

I don't have the answer either.

I wonder if there are 'strange super spreaders' so to speak.

Of course. Back when I was working a little with Alan Vaughan with precognitive pattern recognition and synchronicity, it was just starting to be noticed that once you get in a synchronicity groove it tends to affect others around you and they start experiencing it, too. It's still very subtle, though. Extremely hard to quantify.

He was trying to see if a person could be trained to improve their ability to recognize the patterns using a very crude computer guessing game. These days I wonder if everybody is slowly being trained by their computers to reach out into the "future" and sense what's going to happen. Don't know. He died in 2001. Haven't heard anything from him since.

Anyway, it kind of fits in with the notion that our minds (perceptions and motivations) are only partially physical, and actually generating and interacting all the time with complicated EM fields, some of which might be organized or provide a hint about what's over the horizon.

Cognitive resonance, similar to or a variation of Rupert Sheldrake's morphic resonance?

I believe this to be true. I feel this “presence” all the time. I believe it’s some kind of evil force, entity, energy, or a force that gets energy, or “food” from our suffering, hatred, and pain.

I don't get that at all. I guess because I don't consider indifferent or neutral to be the same as evil. Whether something is good or bad is usually a result of my projection and how it relates to my circumstances at the time.

Kind of like when you go to a store or someplace that’s not all that busy, but the time you decide to go there, everyone and their cousin show up when you do. Odd.

There are several tiers of fringe researchers.

They all have a different 'hold their nose level'.

A lot of fringe researchers 'hold their nose' when it comes
to Rupert Sheldrake.

The whole '100th monkey syndrome' has been debunked apparently.

It's rather interesting.. in some ways it seems that we are quite isolated
from 'interesting stuff' but in other ways, sometimes surprisingly, we are not.

Separating out true 'anomalous stuff' and making sense of it, is still very much
in early days.

I understand that if you always seem find yourself in the longest line at the supermarket, it's a simple statistical thing. The most people are in that line, so you have a better than average chance at being in that line also.

The thing I wonder about it when you suddenly get an idea in your head about something, or something rises above the noise and grabs your attention, with no specific stimulation or trigger, and it's recognizably outside your normal train of thought. Then over the next day or so that same noticeably unusual thing pops up again several times in different contexts.

It would be fun to do it on command, but I've never been able to. Like, pick some random odd thing like, oh, a snowman made of metal. Then try to see if such a thing forces itself into my consciousness over the next several days. Metal snowman. But if I try to do it, it never happens. So no lottery win for me, I guess.

the trick is to clearly visualize it, make it as 'real' as you possibly can,
then to stop caring about it utterly, so that it can grow wings and do
something, other than lurk in your nervous system.

That's the basic thing to know about 'summoning'.

Even works for 'UFOs', at least sometimes, apparently.

At this point, the only way I can determine whether something is anomalous is if it's anomalous to me. If I think of the Marshall Crenshaw song, "Someday Someway," which I haven't heard in years, and I hear it on the radio of some car driving by, I count that as a hit. Perhaps I'm cherry picking and falling for the old confirmation bias thing, but I don't think it would be possible to accurately calculate exactly what my odds are of both thinking of the song and hearing it in a relatively short period of time after not hearing it for years. The difference between perceiving a pattern and creating it. However, maybe I am creating it, inasmuch as I'm creating my own reality all the time anyway.

That's where the subtlety come in.

Is that what they call the “law of attraction”?

It might be coincidence but it works with me, it’s not all that cracked up to be when it does happen, it’s nice and all but there are downsides.

Vallee has said that 'something' has always lived beside us. It's invisible, and it interacts with us and influences us . It's always been here.

My mom used to say that

So a lot of years ago, I was on a winding mountain road. I suddenly got a golden, tingling light that engulfed me, and quietly said, "slam on your brakes, or you will die". So since mamma didn't raise no fool, I did that.

5 second later, I went around a ledge, and a huge buck deer jumped out, clearing my vehicle by not that much. If I hadn't stopped a few seconds, I would probably gone over the guard rail and died.

now.. was this anomalous?

Or did I sumliminally see the deer on the far side of the blind hairpin curve?
Doesn't seem possible.

Just random chance?

I can't say.. but this same thing has happened at key points in my life.

Pretty easy to assume it's anomalous.

I've been having some decent luck with "manifesting" lately. That's fun. Can't find something. Look everywhere. Look again in the same place I looked before -- ta-da! There it is. Sure, maybe I just wasn't paying attention the first time. Or maybe I was.

I don't use those corrupted new age terms, but sure, sorta.

The thing to keep in mind, is that even if you manage to 'broadcast something',

it's a drop put into an ocean of other competing influences.

I guess, if we are all on some sort of 'freight train of no free will'
then that one drop can do more than you would think that it would,
if you are on the 'right tracks'.

I do like the idea that a synchronicity or resonance means you're in the proper groove. That things are the way they are supposed to be and you're swimming well with the current. There is a little comfort there. It almost never happens with bad things.

One of the solutions to Bell's Inequality in Quantum Mechanics is
'super determinism'.

I have to take it quite seriously, that we are all so far from knowing
what's absolutely true, is to prevent us from realizing that we have
no actual free will.

If everything is already determined, then there is nobody to save,
nothing to struggle for, no maidens to rescue from dragons,

yet we find ourselves doing whatever we do, which sometimes seems
we fought for what is right, and 'we' 'seemed to make a difference'.

Its impossible to say.

but the APPEARANCE of 'free will' is still precious to us, and that's
good enough.

Full partners?

That may depend on expectations and the inevitable cognitive dissonance when the actuality of what they are does not match what we were taught they are. Usually it is too late to back out by then.
