Condolences. The first pet / dog my wife and I adopted right after we moved away from family to Texas a few years back died of Lepto a few weeks after we got him. Amazing little puppy. Being there with him to the end was extremely difficult.

I feel so sorry for the loss of your family member (yeah, they are). But your desires vs their pain.., well, it is a tough row to hoe but you loved your friend and that is what matters.



But this is just a marker in time. You will feel better in time. And, because we have the capacity for love, find another buddy.

But it sucks right now!
