Had a cousin tell me how mean trump is and thats why she voted biden, I started sending her information on Biden's 44 year voting history some of the things he has supported she is vehmentaly against.

Told her next time research it, dont just vote on emotion.

Yup there is something nasty coming, havent felt this nervous about the future since my first deployment 20 years ago.

Not sure what it is, but I think the end result is americans will shoot americans in the name of their team by the end of it.

I have a friend who is a refugee from Iraq and blames the USA for wantonly destroying their country and way of life. This person blames everything wrong in their life on the USA. This person is also Biden supporter.

I pointed out that Trump was not even a politician at the time, but Biden was the head of the Foreign Relations committee and championed military action in Iraq.

They still support Biden over Trump. Most epic and ironic case of TDS I've ever heard!

my dad was in the service, not me I chose a different route in a trade.. he is all up in arms now and is worried.. I said dad unless it as your doorstep or beating you down what are you going to do? he said vote Trump... lol our rights are being stripped but we keep trucking on.. taxed to death and watching a #show in front of our eyes..

I can come up with three things that made me really happy through out the entire time, Wife ive been married to for 14 years my 2 year old son, and all the travel we got to do since she was active duty as well.

Other than those three things I wish I could have gotten the same and gone into trades.

And what's going to happen when all hell breaks loose if Trump wins, and cities erupt into chaos, and your "friend" comes to your house looking for shelter and safety from the very people he helped add fuel their fires??

My sister is a dyed in the wool democrat / academic, but she's smart enough to realize that I, as a conservative, didn't cause all the problems of the left, and more so, smart enough to realize that violence helps nothing and only make the left look REALLY bad.

At the other end of the spectrum (and I hope you read this part before getting mad and reacting), I had occasion to eat breakfast with a Iraqi strongman (literally, Iraqi SF guy who was a bad-ass) once in Malaysia back in '95. I'd never met the guy before, he just sat down at my table. Long story short, he started telling me how he would cut the tongue out, and disembowel, anyone who supported Bush. He asked, very point blank, who I supported, and I said Bush, but begrudgingly; I was heavily outnumbered that morning and stood no chance against this guy and his buddies. Might have been okay IF I'd gone out with my usual group, but I was alone this day. I was clearly outmatched (IMHO), so I took my leave. This same guy was killed a couple of weeks later by Malaysian military troops rounding up Bangladeshi illegals who had organized some kind of an uprising on our project site...allegedly led by this guy and several other Iraqi's. Their motivations, apparently, were not so much in favor of the Bangladeshi's, but rather the Indonesians who were a much larger force. These guys were trying to create an army against the Malays who were trying to control illegal immigration.

So, a little different perspective, but much more violent. Those Iraqi's played on sympathy...of the Bangladeshi's. Their hope was to integrate them into the Indonesian (illegals) force they had already set up. I'll give you the short version of how it ended...

The Malaysian Army, Navy and Marines (along with the JPJ and others), using tracked APC's and tanks, rounded up all the Indonesians, as well as most of the Bangladeshi's (and several other groups as well), and took them to Port Klang. They loaded them on empty bulk hauler ships registered in those countries and revoked their passes (i.e sent them out to sea).

I don't know how many of those poor bastages died, but they were in the hull of large cargo ships, by the thousands, with no water, no shade, no fuel and nowhere to go. They couldn't go home (not enough fuel), and Malaysia would not let them come into port, so they were on their own.

Malaysia was tough, for things like "caning", and horrible prisons, but to your "friend", who blames everything on Trump for his family's hardships, ask him ONE thing...why the F# is he HERE?????
