The knockout game is pretty much played by African American men who go out looking to see if they can knock out white folks, usually elderly ones, in one punch.

I think it's terribly that someone could just walk up and hit someone so cavalierly and walk off like that, like they hadn't done anything to someone and just left them lying there on the sidewalk.

I recall reading about life in medieval Europe -- something to the effect that casual violence was nothing unusual. We're regressing.

This happened to me 45 years ago on my first day at a Houston public high school. I was minding my own business when a black kid I’d never seen before walked up to me and coldcocked me, giving me a black eye and breaking my glasses. It was the first of many crimes and much ugliness inflicted by black people. I’ve never been anything but nice and respectful toward blacks, even after they mistreated me so many times. That’s one of many reasons I scoff at claims of pervasive white racism. It’s utterly hypocritical. Black racism is far more pervasive and often expressed verbally and violently.
