Dancer/Ghost,

I would not say that exactly as I feel that as a species we are more savvy than ever before. It is just the talent is no longer required to become famous.

I wouldn't call it savy...

We do have more "Technical Ability" than we have ever had. I don't think that aspect can be questioned. Unfortunately, technical ability and wisdom are not the same thing. Some of the biggest inventions in recent history, are old ideas that we now have the ability to bring to fruition.

Until recently we couldn't explain how a boomerang worked.

Truthseeka, what is with this hate america thing? First of all were are not going to end up like nazi germany because the founding fathers left certain "Safeguards" to this sort of thing. There would be hell to pay if they tried to remove the second amendment.

Trust,

The "safeguards" you refer to are being slowly but surely eroded.

As I have posted on another thread as long as they leave the guns till last no one will do anything. By that point it will be to late.

It is sad to think that this is happening in what was once a great country but I guess no one stays great for all time.

I guess I should introduce myself since I am new to this site, this message board and this thread. My name is Scott Ritsema, and I wrote the article that spurred this discussion. Interestingly enough, I'd never heard of this website, and I was typing in my name to find my article, and saw that it had been posted on a bunch of sites. It was quite a surprise.

I noticed there was a conversation about Left and Right, which I would like to comment on. What is commonly defined as Left and Right have both been co-opted by the same internationalist elite establishment.

Historian Carroll Quigley noted that the CFR was (and ought to be) the mechanism by which the elite Establishment could control both parties. To even the casual observer, this is true: both parties favor war, police state measures, open boarders, gun control, growing government power and global government. The list could go on.

To say that both parties are Right (as somebody did) is absurd. Yes, both parties are beholden to the same cooperate/media/military-industrial complex/international banking cabal, but that doesn’t make them Right wing. The aims of this Establishment are socialistic, big government, and tyranny. They push toward the New World Order of world socialism that the same elite controllers have been aiming at for 100 years+.

I have a problem with the Left-Right paradigm because, to most, the extreme Left is socialism, and the extreme Right is fascism. Well, where does America fit in then? Where do limited government, liberty, and strict Constitutionalism fit in? So, this whole system of thought is archaic.

On another topic, I agree with the original poster that I was stating the obvious. Anybody who doesn’t see it just doesn’t know history and doesn’t follow the news. I think it was an unfortunately necessary article to write, though, because most people are still asleep.

I welcome any questions, comments, or arguments on my article or what I’ve written here.

TPB,

It is good to hear from you.

I found your article to be quite interesting. I would be keen to read more of your work. Do you have a website?

Unfortunately, I do not have a website. No time or skills. I am a teacher, which leaves very little time for anything else.

I am a regular contributer to prisonplanet, though, writing about every other week. Here are some links; I've only written three articles. One of them you've already read.

www.prisonplanet.com...

propagandamatrix.com...

Hey, I really appreciate the kind words. Knowing there are actually people reading and enjoying my writing makes it worthwhile.

Point well made, and taken. There is so much that has existed and functioned without any explimation. as to why does it work...

As I understand it... (That dosn't say a lot...)
The size, shape, and speed that which the wings move create a Vortex, or vacume above the wing to suspend the bee... / If that is correct or not is anyones guess, but an intersting hypothisis..

(Couldn't resist... LOL...)

Tyranny 101 -

To me the question does not eminate out of hatred for the USA, It has been said before, and will be said many times to come..
"I love my country, but fear my Government" It eminates from the those who are running it display and posess a certain moral void.

To me, the question is not if we can fix it - Of cource we can!

(Won't be easy or painless, and will require the citizens to do what they fear doing, it means to rally a bunch of cowardly pacifists into a revolutionary army. - Eh, why bother - They don't deserve to benifit from it anyway).

The question is Do we have time?

I think the article is right on the money...

Step 1: Eliminate the Legislative Process

One need look no further than the recent battle over Terri Schiavo. The Executive branch, on both the State, and then National level tried to overstep their bounds. In addition, they even got the Legislative branch in on it to try and nullify what should have been the jurisdiction of the Judicial branch. The Patriot Act is of course another example of simply trying to grab more power than ever intended for the Executive branch.

Step 2: Destroy Federalism

This will be the hardest obstacle for would be tyrants to overcome. It's about the only point in our favor. Some states almost see themselves as a mini nation all their own (not mentioning Texas' name or anything
) Still, we're seeing signs of it, especially with ideas such as national IDs (papers pleaze...dunka).

Step 3: Create an Enemy and Declare “Homeland Security”

Obviously the easiest parallel to draw. The painting of arabs as the bad guys has already gotten a majority of people who would likely support death camps at this point! The historical ignorance shown on this issue is apalling to say the least.

Step 4: Disarm the People

Hardly even worthy of being a point anymore. My shotgun isn't going to do jack against an Abrahm's tank, hehe.... The reason for the 2nd Amendment was rendered inconsequential ages ago. Still, the playbook is being followed, with evermore increasing crackdowns on private weapons.

Step 5: Nationalize Police Forces and Establish Secret and Military-Style Police

The DoHS is well on it's way in this arena...

Don't forget Step 6: Establish a dynasty.

An ongoing dictatorship must have successors...I think there is little doubt as to why Dubya's successor is planned to be. This step is essential in a "behind the scenes" dictatorship such as we have now.

Also, there is a Step before Step 1.
Step 0: Get yourself in office and give the appearance of being "elected" to it. Think we've all seen that one, hehe....

Gazrok,

I totally agree with you.

What staggers me is the ostrich approach being used by so many Americans.

There seems to be some societal flaw that makes it impossible for the majority of them to adapt their ideas or even change their minds subject to new information.

It seems that once an opinion is reached nothing will change it.
