My first Newbie post

Hello to everyone. I am a newbie in all senses of the word...first time on ATS...first time posting to any board. I've lurked on this site for a year now and found it compelling.

I ask people to bear w/me and let me know when I've screwed up (although judging from the threads I've read here it won't be a problem getting constructive criticism).

Looking forward to meeting new people and learning a thing or two.
