Japanese Visual Kei music. I don't really see it as appropriation since it's as much about the dressing up and the artistry as it is the music.

Santur is the name of that from Mesopotamia origins. Maybe the Bluegrass and Rednecks from America borrowed it from history after all. We have absorbed a lot of good things and shed the truly bad stuff and will have to sluff off some more from ANTIFA and BLM or we will surely end the Republic and begin the Marxists Police state where the NAZI SS replaces LEO's.

Wiki can be trusted to tell us about an instrument from history that has such pleasing sounds and is unusual.
