This was yesterday, picture taken from my driveway

This was this morning, same scene

This is later in the day, fires closer but the smoke is clearing a bit

We've helped as we could. Opened our home to a couple of families who had to evacuate.

Was talking about it in another thread, didn't want to go off topic so this thread.

I woke up yesterday morning to a wildfire about 10 miles from my house. I was lucky enough to wake up this morning to find they had put it out.

Good!

We're at 0% containment now but the rancher who has the field in front of my house has been working the sprikler all day to saturate the ground so I'm hoping for a fire break.

Center picture is pretty much what it looked like here the last couple days. I'm just outside the Walbridge fire evac area.

We gotta help people. Everyone I know is and has been just opening their doors for anyone who needs it.

It's been awesome to see.

I hope they get yours contained soon and you all don't have to evacuate.

We shouldn't. (fingers crossed)

To add, I work at the local hospital so I can't really go anywhere.

Gotta take care of folks.

It's a crazy scene in Oregon/NorCal. My folks are waiting to hear whether they lost a house down in the Oroville area, which was the replacement for a house they lost in the Ponderosa fire several years ago. Heartbreaking.

There are fires around me, but none too close. Sure is smokey, though.

Stay safe ATS northwesterners.

I hope that thing goes elsewhere so you and yours can all stay put and stay safe. That's just way too close for comfort.

Hang in there and don't take any chances you don't have to.

You're all in my thoughts and prayers for what good it may do.
