I can see why podcasts are popular. They are not my favorite format however, since I can read the transcript of the entire podcast in a fraction of the time it takes me to listen to it (provided I can find a transcript).

Isn't that what a lot of podcasts are? I realize many of them are interviews and people discussing things with 2+ people, but some are done solo, with the "author/podcaster" talking about what he/she would write in a blog.
Podcasts are my favorite form of entertainment. They are so great when I can't read but don't want to listen to music.
I didn't think there was anything wrong with von Braun's voice, maybe I was more focused on his intelligence and vision in this old documentary about space travel.
