So the standards for the media should be as low as we've allowed them to get for politicians.

There are seriously people advocating this like that's a good route for us to go down.

"Sure, the media should be allowed to make things up and lie to the public! Politicians do it!"

Do you people realize how #ing stupid you sound when you do this? The media, the last bulwark of democracy, a free press is so vital, blah blah blah and then sure, they should absolutely straight up lie and make things up as long as it's about Trump.
