I am not critisizing a person for actually ACTING on something. You are too much of a coward to get up yourself so you hide and complain.

Tell me then skippy what exactly can I do seeing as im not Iraqi and have nothing to do with Iraq? You expect me to go join an extremist group? I dont even speak arabic, I probably wouldnt even get into Iraq never mind an extremist group there.

And there is a HUGE difference between supporting a war and supporting your fellow countrymen fighting it, if you dont see that you are more lost and confused than I could ever imagine.

By supporting people going to a war your pretty much supporting the war I dont mean the troops that are already over there.

Oh yeah, I think there was a General who said that you ought to have a good time over there 'cause "it's a hoot" killing people. Good for you. I'm really jealous!

good job man. Fighting for your country

Dont worry about the negative comments from people in the thread, all that matters is that you are doing a great deed for your country, and I respect you for it.

*salutes*

Take care and stay safe.

Good luck gold,

I recently done my test for the RN but failed it so am redoing it in 6 months, have you done the prefitness checks or just sent the form away?

Also remember mate, stay true to what you believe dont let anyone sway with words like "dont be a coward join combat" , its about what you want to be.

I recomend shipboard duty, travel the world and work with very high tech equipment. Might be less action or no action but the fact is your serveing a vital purpose, no matter your job.

Keep your head down and you spirits up. And pray the drill instructors are hard on you.

Point of clarification...

You are not trained to die for your country, you are trained to make the other guy die for his.

First, let me congratulate to the brave young man ready to die for his country and Her foreign policy! I agree that it takes guts to go into the army and to war. I know that you want live the phrase of the one rare great president of the United States, mister John F. Kennedy: "Ask not what Your country can do for You, but what You can do for Your country! I agree with that quote! And I stand behind the man who SAID IT!

But,
the current president of the United States is far far FAR from the man that mister John F. Kennedy was. Your current president is a fool. And a VERY IGNORANT fool! And a very SELFISH fool! He does not care for your country! He does not care for world peace! He does not care for world enviroment problems! He does not care for the world disease and famine problems! He only cares for his money in the bank! War = Bussines. War = Stock market. War = Profit. All the talk about terrorists and weapons of mass destruction and democracy is pure CRAP! And to follow this president, you are also a fool! To kill for him and to die for him. Sorry. Truth hurts.

Did you know that,
every day in civil war in Congo there die as many people, that have died on the 9.11 in the World Trade Center?

Why does your president not help this country?

Why does not he bring Peace and Democracy to them? Do they no deserve it, just like the Iraqi people do?

Are they less HUMAN?

Dont ammount of dead black men equal the ammount of dead white men?

Do you think your joining the military will help to bring World Peace?

Do you think your military is helping to increase the World Peace?

Do you think your president is helping to increase the World Peace?

Answer yourself to these questions, and then decide if you want to join the army.

And They Called It Peace."

While you are whining, we are having a blast serving. The men and women we work with, and the jobs we do fill us with pride and give us great memories we look back on and never regret.

Yea your gonna have a blast killing extremists and civilians and think of the prized memories of the dead women and children blown to pieces and bodyparts all over the streets, youll look back on those memories with pride in years to come.

I don't know...I was kind of hoping to go in my sleep after living in a world were there is peace, respect for others and an efficient distribution system for goods and food so that everyone eats and has a place to live.

That being said, I respect your choice and wish you the best.

Peace!?

SAFE?
HAPPY?
This guy is going to war! These words do not go very well togather.
And no I dont have a problem with him going to the army, its his own decision what to do with his life. But I have a problem with the Army he is going to serve with! At least I can do is to warn him what dogs of war he is going to fight for! Why would you want to wish him "a safe and happy experience" if he does not really have to go?

No sir. That was not stated anywhere in the thread title. I'm not saying he is, but he could be lying.

Souljah

Good post brother. You seem to be in a more mellow mood today than usual.

Your last post didnt "arn him what dogs of war he is going to fight for" they attempted to sway him away from the military.
If you have a problem with his army then complain somewhere else.
He doesnt have to go, but the fact he IS means I am wishing him well, people do that.

Thanks for the support guys!

First of all, I signed up to make a difference. Can one person make a difference? I think so. I think I can help civilians, help rebuild schools, hospitals, feed the needy.

Just because your in Marines, doesn't mean your killing innocents like some of you posters impose on me. I will fight when I have to, and nothing else.

I think you should start thinking more in these terms:

I will fight when they want me too, and do everything else they tell me to do.

Don't forget to bring some armor for your Humvee.

Peace

Of course your not gonna be targeting civilians but when an extremist jumps out of a bunch of civilians the odds are a bunch of civilians are gonna get gunned down too. Ah well your minds made all there is to say is good luck and try not to get shot.

Good luck to you. Keep your head down.

The British Army have asked me to send you this - please print it off, keep it in your notebook, memorise the flags and try to remember these are your allies. Try not to shoot them, we find it annoying,

www.woodlands-junior.kent.sch.uk...

You'll also recognise the Brits by their SA-80's, keeping an decent interval (they'll be the ones walking) & actually talking to people!

Seriously good luck
