I really feel like I'm walking outside with no clothes on talking about this on such a public forum.
I've had an idea actually, and I'll let you know if I act on it.
Even talking about it in such vague terms kind of makes a lump in my stomach.

Even if it is a communication device, I predict that it would fail. He can't read a teleprompter... having someone talk in his ear while other people are talking around him will just confuse his Alzheimer's riddled mind even more.

He will probably be turning to that side, asking who is talking to him whenever they give him a line prompt.

Oh, not a problem... You reminded me exactly why trying to open up online is a bad idea, and that there are people with zero understanding or patience. It is why some mysteries of the world evade some people, and they spend their whole life frustrated, wondering and never get an answer, even when someone is trying to find a way to explain it to them.
They want everything just laid out on a plate for their easy consumption. Sad really.
