Hey all,

This is the biggest drone in my armada. It has a 10min flight time and a range upwards of 10km. Speeds can easily exceed 100mph (160kmh). Normal cruising speed is 55mph (86kmh).

Recorded with a GoPro Hero 7 Black - ND8 filter - shutter locked at 1/120 - 60 fps.

I hope you enjoy!

Just wondering what part of the country you're in, looks very rural. Big foot country?

Not a camera nerd so “neutral density” filters are new (now I know how the BBC does it!!). That is one mean cool camera trick!! And the longer exposure allows one to choose the “blended images” portion of the object... that is crazy cool!

So, is there software that allows you to “sequence” both, let’s say drone motion, with ND lens settings?? I guess the question also can be stated “can you fly manually, figure out the flight path, then orchestrate the fly by with ND filter changes”??

And have those settings saved so you can make changes here and there and then stitch together like MIDI consoles in music??

It makes sense to do it that way.

Anyway, cool stuff!!

You just set it and forget it.

Since I locked the shutter speed and set a small margin of ISO range, the image has basically the same " exposure " over the whole flight.

By locking the shutter at 1 over 2x the frame rate capture, it gives that motion blur cinematic effect. I record at 60fps so I lock the shutter at 1/120th. If I were to record at 30fps, Id lock it at 1/60th shutter.
