If I have Breast Cancer and someone comes up and stabs me in the gut, what did I die from?

If I have Melanoma, and get in a car crash what did I die from?

If I have heart problems, but then I get Ebola and die, what did I die from?

I think too many people are playing schematics with Covid-19.
The question should be if I didn't get Covid-19 would I have lived, or lived longer?
In almost all the cases the answer would be an resounding YES.

sorry just venting tired of the pre-existing condition crap.

Jag. Has nothing to do with it.
2 death statements on every death cert...plus onset time frame

What was your demise, what caused it and when.

*PS: ex...Ebola killed you, the reason you were weakened enough was the Cancer, onset of dibilitation: days, to months, to years

Jag stay well! MS/EMT

*And to add? Ebloa was the cause, breakdown was from Cancer, cause of death was(?) Heart Attack

Cause of death: Heart Attack

Surely you mean semantics, and you're right. People are playing semantics...on both sides of the argument, but in my opinion, more so those who want to inflate the CV19 death toll.

Think of pre-existing conditions as literal weak links regarding health & longevity. If your health & longevity link is severely weakened already from an existing disease or a disorder, or multiple of either/both, Covid's not going to be your sole worry and risk of death.

Harkens back to that TV show, The Weakest Link. You ARE a weak health link, meet your camel's back's final straw, good bye. I don't care how crude it comes off, that's the non-bubble-wrapped gist of it.

fully agree. Our local news broadcasters state when there is a person who died with covid. They never state covid killed the person because our local TV station does not want to promote false information to their viewing public. Sure, some people do die from covid, but the majority of them die because they have another serious health condition and getting covid can overtax their body just like the flu or pneumonia can.

I think that everyone has a pre existing condition that may or may not be “discovered”, leveraged, or used to the advantage of some other agent.
Sometimes the agent never meets the flaw.
