God bless Reagan's SDI initiative re: militarization of Space

...as that is what brought Russia to the table to discuss the militarization of Space in the first place.

But in a surprise move - the US and Russia now disagree.

And it's out in the open and in the news - today's Wall St journal...

Every tom dick and harry has an anti satellite missile system these day's.

So it was inevitable that this had to move on, everyone is wanting to militarize space as well so other space treatise are now outdated also.

But I still can't help but instantly think about this.


The fact is we NEED to militarize space to protect the earth against asteroid's etc.

But it will always, always be a temptation to some trigger happy lunatic if they get control of it to use it AGAINST the earth.
