When they admit that herd immunity is real and lockdowns do nothing, watch people rebel and refuse to wear the masks anymore. My county has seen a dramatic drop in new cases and the death rate is something like 0.25% nationally now.

Saw this quote somewhere in the past couple of days, but can't find the source now.

Seems like it would be hard living with this kind of noise in your head, but apparently lots are doing it these days.

But no. I don't believe that Trump posting a photo he thought he looked tough in taken when he was forced to wear a mask at Walter Reed and accompanied with some weak-sauce words about "when you can't social distance" is going to change many if any minds.

Nope, asthma attacks can be dangerous my Mrs has that.

You would be one of the people probably advised not to wear a mask down to your condition.

Additionally, you are also in one of the most high-risk categories. Or at least that's what we were told via a letter from NHS and phone interviews with her asthma nurse.

It's a minor inconvenience to most put it that way.

Including my Mrs whilst on public transport by her own choice mind you considering her similar predicament.

Just stay safe mate, or as safe as you can be.

Yeah but how are you going to get the corona if you have a mask on? If you fully believes it protects you, why the fear? Just like a vaccinated person afraid of an unvaccinated person. The vaccinated person isn't going to get the measles because you're vaccinated.

It's prudent to wear a mask for the time being under the correct circumstance like whist in public transport or in large groups of people imho.

What if I told you I was tested and negative? Would that suffice? So again, if I don't have it, why should I be forced to wear it? If you think you need to wear it, then feel free to protect me from you.

Oh, now it makes sense. If you test negative once, then you can never get it at all, thus, will not be able to infect others.

Oh, so we have to test the entire population of the US daily? That makes total sense and if Trump wasn't so lazy, we'd already be doing 330 million tests per day on a 24 hr turnaround. You kinda made my point for me.

Well here in Tennessee we have sheep screaming and equating that refusal to wear a mask is basically the same as rape and not allowing women to have abortions.

I've got a nice camo mask,which means I'm almost totally color-coded (unfortunately I couldn't get a photo with it on the members' photo thread for posterity, and I can't seem to tag myself or share photos of myself wearing it over my face, so unfortunately I had to expose my snot-box on my latest pic).

As far as patriotism goes:
Last year SA won the Rugby World Cup, and one rugby player called Faf de Klerk appeared in the media wearing the national flag as a patriotic speedo in the post-game locker-room, leading to a string of South African male ruby fans donning the "outfit" during the victory parades.

But some in in the far-left cancel-culture weren't happy. There guys were not patriotic, but disrespecting the flag by wearing it over their nether regions! Indignant letters streamed in to left-wing globalist rags like the Cape Times newspaper. That's probably because Faf de Klerk and many fans happen to be white, and in SA the left never misses a chance to bash male whiteys, no matter what they do.

But, then I see our health minister Dr. Zweli Mkhize wearing a mask with our Coat of Arms right over his nostril!
And nobody complained. Except for me on Facebook of course (since I'm a true patriot), and I see he's now got other masks.


National symbols and orifices - I say time for tighter rules!
If you shouldn't put them over your backside and tackle, then also don't put them over your potentially snotty nostrils.
