Sucks that you have health issues...but for 90% of us this is nothing to worry about. If someone is at risk it is up to,them to take precautions. It isn't on the majority to shut down and mask up for the 10%...its on that 10% to make arrangements to avoid the risk...just like basically every other thing in life that's risky for some people.

I think with a deadly virus they would definitely tell us as to get those with the knowledge to help out and try to mitigate the problem.

There is far more danger in under estimating the evil that men
are capable of with such naive thinking. If covid was as deadly as
the hype says it is? We wouldn't have to hear the hype telling us
constantly how deadly it is. It's so deadly you have to get tested
to know you have it.

People like yourself should be protected as well as all who are
considered high risk. It's even obvious they were hoping for far
better results then they now have. By down playing the seriousness
of the situation publicly in documented statements. By forcing
nursing homes to accept covid patients. By inflating the numbers
we are getting. I think it's completely petered out compared to
what they were hoping.

The good news if that is the truth. They don't have a virus worse
than this one or they would've used it. And the hype would be
non existent. So let them cling to their marvel comic hopes.
America needs to get it's ass up and go back to work. Or we
lose our grand children's future safety and freedom. Because
America got the flu.

And that's just stupid.

Exactly...if it was as bad as the media makes it seem...no one would have to convience you you need to wear a mask or avoid going out. You would already know...

You think people needed conviencing in 1918?

I think we can conclude that a system this vulnerable to corruption?
Just has no credibility at all and never should it be taken seriously
much less even listened to.

Just take you're masks off everyone, ignore any threats and go on
about your business. As I have myself the whole way thru this buil
crap hoax! Stop obeying and you'll stop the BS dead in it's tracks.

I don't want use this forum to get into the political reasons for Covid-19 being over-hyped, but suffice it to say, +99.9% of us will die from something else besides Covid-19.

Even if everyone started living their daily life exactly like we were before March of this year.

So? what's that got to do with anything?

Everything. If a sickness is only killing 3.6% of the people who contract it, with 50% of all deaths occurring to those age 65 and above, there's no reason for people under age 65 to drastically change their lifestyle.

And there's certainly no need to ruin a state or national economy over such a minor threat to life.

If there were really a virus out here with the kind of potential
to take out a large number of earths population.

Do ya think they would tell us? I don't!

Probably not. Besides if there was a disease like Ebola (57% Mortality) running rampant, the very people who constantly scream "Wolf!" over Covid-19, would be in self-preservation mode. Not taking the time to show up on TV every day.

I acknowledge your hardships. I’m sure that’s been incredibly difficult. My Sincere sympathies.

If you’d like, we can compare notes. I’m more than willing. We all have our own hells.

However, Instead of commiserating, I’d prefer more constructive talk.

That was the point of my statement. EVERYONE needs to put their ‘big boots’ on.

Massaged???

Distorted and falsified are more apt descriptions here.

I've given that some thought and I don't think most governments around the world would inform the public about a pandemic involving a highly contagious virus with close to a 100% mortality rate. The reaction from governments as well as the rich and powerful along with thousands of people dropping like flies would tell you what's going on. They couldn't keep that a secret for too long before it became obvious though.

Sure, and the same can be said of car accidents, most of us will die of something else. We still try to prevent those deaths. Same with all the other CODs one can find, we try to prevent them.

Yeah and just look what they're trying to do to cars. Don't worry, soon we'll win the war on traffic accidents too...when everyone's being chauffeured around in their autonomous vehicles they rent out by the hour because silly people won't be trusted to own a vehicle or drive themselves.

Actually, I think he's trying to help you see you got, and are still being, played.

Most importantly, Covid-19 is not the huge threat to life that the media portrays it as. When you consider that over 7,400 people die every day in this country, Covid-19 is just another (temporary) add on.

You have a mind not obscured by the spell cast into today's world via
many avenues. You're a valuable asset to those who know you whether
they know it or not.

Well done amigo

Thanks for the complement.

It is rare for people to appreciate, much less understand, what I have to say even when I use the most direct and simplest language possible. I can still count them on one hand, although it may be closer to two now.

Yes, I hear you man! I was thinking of seatbelts, D&D laws, crash safety..etc but you make a valid point, as far as the car goes.

Covid-19 is not the huge threat to life that the media portrays it as.

And it never was.

But they won: the media, the camps of medical experts who couldn't give a flying # about a lock-down's own risk to health and the economy, the yip-yapping dogs on social media, and the nodding-dog politicians who felt they had to swing to those same tunes because... well, everybody else was, copying everybody else.

Except Sweden.

And now we're sitting in economic rubble, facing a second Great Depression.

GENIUS, eh?

Guess they aren't hardline strong arming masks where you live. Here in vegas its a 1500$ fine per person unmasked in a business...literally no where allows you in without one. I thinks its dumb as hell...especially if half the people have them under their chin anyway...but just try to get beer and smokes in a gas station without one...much less grocery shop.

I still make them tell me when I walk in a place with my
bandana tucked in my back pocket. I like to watch them
watch me waiting for them to react. And just as their mouth
starts to form the first word of conveyance at me. I whip my
bandana out and just keep it in my hand in front of my nose
and mouth. That's a kick sometimes and when I get up to
the counter. I make sure I say "What?" at least three times
whether I hear em or not. Then before I leave I ask a few
questions like.

" So make'n you guys wear those got damn things wasn't enough.
Now they made you all mask monitors to right?" Gets a few laughs.

This increases the employees work load, adds more stress, causes
more negative interactions with customers who rightfully don't want
to be told what to do by anyone at the am pm they been using for the
last fifteen years. Not to mention making store employees into
covid cops increases their chances of being involved in a violent
incident. Say when a walk in becomes agitated after hearing

" I can't serve you with out a mask sir"

So the guy who just stopped to grab a Boston Lager on his way
to the vacant church parking lot to blow his brains out after
his wife decided she wanted him to catch her in bed with the
next door neighbor. You know to easy out the poor bastard.
All this go'n on the same time the oxygen is depleting in the
corona clerks brain from wearing a mask for way to long
everyday for weeks. And by now must look like a giant frosted
raisin. That's when pissed off guy looking at her thru his shades
in his best Arnold imitation says. "I'll be back!" but nope not with
a mask

And that's how pissed off guy goes from barely a mention on
page three of the town local. To another national anchor mans
spotlighted whack job submitted not for your approval. But simply
so all of us have someone to hurl insults at and be the monster
many love to hate and say stupid crap about only up until the
next distraction.

You know, It just occurred to me the world is pretty far gone
already.

When you say record setting, you should put context in. Who’s record? The record for the state of Arizona? A record for per capita of citizens? With a little over 100 a day, truly sad given any loss of live, but is it even close to what was happening in NYC in April?
These ALARMist attempts to keep covid the conversation are almost refreshing now that MSM has moved into a racial war prepping for election mayhem.
