The parallels to the United States are plainly evident to anyone who cares to look. Our sole saving grace is the petro dollar but when that goes all our military might won't be able to save us from the decay within. If the US dies it will be by slow suicide; by abandoning any hint of moderation and attempting to buy off the voters with free programs. Oh yes we can be just like the once prosperous Argentina in just a few short months at our current trajectory. Great history lesson! paul, you left out the part where govt winds up in the hands of the rich and their only concern is protecting their wealth. so they put billionaires into positions of power to ensure no one else gets fair treatment.until someone comes up with a technique that makes all people contribute equally there will always be an underclass that takes what isn't theirs and an upper class that does everything to protect everything they've produced.

What "may" happen is this: an upscale escalation of the downfall of the Communist Party due to weather patterns that will have an impact of peoples diet. What is happening silently in China are 2 things: the weather and the corona virus
Its affecting the manufacturing side of survival for millions of Chinese these days. The real picture is being hid for National Security reasons. Japan now is taking on a special military reserve units due to : yep, you guessed it. the weather and how the condition of the unknown lies a head in this country. I'm not mentioning the corona virus because this new branch was started way before the virus. Its the uncertainty of a decline in population. And yes, Chinese population will start declining rapidly just like it has in Italy. There are so many factors that come into place when politicians ( incompetent ones ) lead a country down the path of destruction within.

I , as an outsider looking at the situation in 2 countries , USA and China. These 2 countries are in the decline. Why, weather patterns and reproduction of population. Japan, well, seriously, its a lost cause. Japan CAN NOT regain its population back. EX. back in the 40's a local elementary school had 1900 students grade 1 to 6th. The school closed now with just 21 students. This is how it all works down to a natural depopulation course of a destruction of a nation.

We all see what has been taken place in America. unemployment checks plus 600 dollars a week more. Not too many people will want to go back to work with such an incentive, right. So now what will happen. Those people will riot till Congress passes another 600 a week bonus. America is on a down roll spin. Just like Argentina was. China too will fall within. The American press is pumping up China for some stupid reason and the young folks in America think its cool to have a dictator in charge.
I will say this much. In this country, when you move to another county, you have to have your tax papers with you and an exit paper with where you will settle. If you don't and move, you have to go back to that county that you left and get them papers. Why... because without that, you don't get national health insurance. This is how China works also. Its not free to really move unless you go by the rules and bad as it sounds, most Americans don't play by the rules , even the politicians too.

Argentine went bad because of an elite whom controlled the money and because of government corruption, very few of those politicians left there job's poor, they used the government of Argentina to strip mine that country's economy and wealth into there own hand's and perhaps were also driven by radical anarchists behind the scene's whom wanted to destroy the old system, anarchists long predate Marx and indeed were a feature in France and other European nations such as Austria for a long time before the Russians had there own revolution, out of these two movements emerged Communism and Fascism but I will argue NOT center left socialism which is more common sense.

I will also argue that a sensible welfare system (as long as it is not being spent on drug's such as crack and the money is channelled to buy cheap good's made within the nation that pay's that welfare instead of unregulated imports from other nations) actually acts as a stimulus to the low value retail sector from everything from clothing to utility's, these people have to eat, they have to have clothing, as long as the able bodies welfare recipient's can earn far more in a Job and crime is kept under control by a decent police force (AND MORE IMPORTANTLY CULTURE OF RESPECT FOR THE POLICE AND THE LAW - other wise it is chaos and that is the work of radical's aka Anarchists whom are pretty much still around today - and they used to blow thing's up and commit atrocity's as well remember in nations like Austria, Germany and France long before Marx ideal's drove some of them down a different path toward abolishing the old status quo that they hated so much) then this money goes in a complete circle, it subsidises retail, retail logistics and industry including farming.

A healthy population is one that is more able to work, so long as the job's can be materialized who would want a sickly population so health care is an essential in any humane society, only evil old fashioned idealists like the old Tory's of the 1800's in Britain whom believed in so called natural wastage of the excess population - in other word's allowing the poor to starve and die of disease to keep there numbers down.

A government SHOULD control essential industry and utility's, if it has a military it should buy domestically produced machines and technology's for that military, these should source there material's as much as possible from within the nation and so a government at least part owning and subsidising these NOT JUST IN TIMES OF WAR is actually an essential but free market radical's whom are in there own way actually ANARCHISTS hate this, they believe in a single world, no borders to block free trade, no welfare because people are a commodity's so let's bring back slavery in there real hidden opinion and though they may kick and scream that this is not the truth the fact is the writing is on the wall.

However great video and very interesting parallel's but I believe nothing happens by chance, there are those that want the US to fail, there were those that wanted Argentina to Fail, back then Argentina WAS the other America that people from Europe were settling in and making new lives, they all had one goal, to build a new country and make it great, today how many that live in country's no longer have that goal.

And as for free market economy's, they are fine as long as they stay humane, no corporations, no monopolies and no protection racket's ran by gangsters and bent politicians and just maybe it would work, it did work in the early 1900's before WW1 in the USA when your company's were far greater in number, far smaller and nearly all US citizen's were actually self employed, it failed when the corporations got greedy and wall street went off the track's, now your people pay the tax burden and corporations are allowed to run rampant and rule behind the scenes when in fact they are the enemy of your democracy not it's friend.
