You guys should be proud of what you created here, the site is irreplaceable for many of us.

I'm glad I found it when I did, it's changed my life in many positive ways.

Augustus never seemed to elevate to Mod status, but has had a presence here forever, and between he and his sock puppet DB, they keep me thinking about my stance on things.

I'm lucky I was never a Mod, I'd ban myself and my sock on day one.

I (like many other members, I'm sure) would like to echo that sentiment.

ATS was a great place for UFO discussions. The energy and technical abilities of many members was obvious, albeit I felt that their full potential was never realised - a comment I'm sure applies to many informal associations of individuals.

Some of the technical features of the forum (such as flagging of threads and starring of posts) were also useful tools for quickly picking out interesting threads and meaningful contributions within those threads.

I had several years of interesting interaction with members here, several of whom have sadly passed away or moved on to other interest or forums.

I don't think it is merely nostalgia which makes me think that ATS isn't what it used to be. I hope, however, that ATS survives. Perhaps a new owner will help revitalise the UFO forum here.

In any event, I'd like to thank the owners and moderators here for their efforts over the years.

I would liek to say I also Appreciate ATS,and the members and mods,and owners. I may not have gotten along with some of you but i do respect you all for all you have done and said.

Isaac, your input and wisdom has been an integral part of this site. It all comes down to the members here, where "user generated content" is all there is. We have been blessed with so many brilliant minds, like yours. I'm humbled to be a part of such an amazing place, and I hope that we are able to continue this on some level in the future. I feel as if we are closer than ever to some essence of disclosure, and would hate to go through it on my own.

Thanks for your input and insight over the years.

Oh liek a reward system for great post that keep the teachings of ATS and contributes to the overall well being of the site?

I have nothing I can manage to say other than overwhelming sadness. I will miss this place, no where else has felt quite like it... I have real tears over the end of ATS. Thank you for what time I had here. It will be remembered always and cherished. This place literally saved my life.
