Fake "Mask Exemption Cards" Distributed by Nonexistent "Freedom to Breathe Agency"

Justice Department warns Americans to be on the lookout for fake 'mask exemption cards' distributed by nonexistent 'Freedom to Breathe Agency'

I AM EXEMPT FROM ANY ORDINANCE REQUIRING FACE MASK USAGE IN PUBLIC.

Wearing a face mask poses a mental and/or physical risk to me. Under the Americans with Disability Act (ADA), I am not required to disclose my condition to you.

The card also has a stylized eagle logo from the "FTBA" -- for the "Freedom To Breathe Agency."

Of course, the authorities don't see the humor (tee hee hee):

The US Attorney’s Office in Maine released a statement on its social media feed saying that cards claiming to offer an exemption from wearing face coverings are fake.

Oh well. I guess they gotta do their job.

But I still want one. I sure wish I could find someone passing them out in my neck of the woods

But oh how it would backfire on him!!! And I can't help but chuckle at the thought...

From what I hear, masks are illegal in Georgia. (maybe I heard wrong...)

There are still towns here in AZ where it's illegal to wear a mask -- especially in certain businesses like banks!

It WAS the same in the UK before this Covid thing. If you walked into any premises with a mask on, only one reason, you've come to rob the place.

The irony, eh???

I can't help but also find it more than a little ironic that "I can't breathe" only matters when a cop -- purportedly in fear for his/her life -- uses a chokehold to protect him/herself... but "I can't breathe" doesn't matter when it's the facemask police wanting to protect him/herself...

Me neither. I tried again this morning and damned if it didn't trigger another bronchospasm. As bad as those are for me, it was probably more traumatic for the cashier than for me! I apologized profusely (when I finally could), and promised I'd never put her through that again... Of course, it certainly wasn't my choice to begin with!

But I got my milk. I just wish I would have thought to get some more Angry Orchard as well...
