Another take altogether.

The user population of ATS is worth some dough. What if, the owner sold the users.
I'm sure there is another site out there that could accommodate a few extra forums.

Sell the users, if that is even possible, to xxxddd.com. We all migrate over after a quick password change. Migrate our mods to said forums.
Boom! Now we have a board to discuss all things and be censored by google.

ATS doesn't own the users, so they cannot sell them.

Interesting thought... but there's no way ATS could guarantee that the members would participate on the new forum, so I'm not sure who would be interested in paying for something they may not receive.

I may or may not be typical of ATS members, and I can only speak for myself, but it's not an accident or coincidence or just luck of the draw that I post on ATS. It is by choice. I cannot think of one other forum where I would want to post (and where I wouldn't be banned for posting my true thoughts and opinions).

I'll be here until the end -- whether the "end" is mine or ATS -- but I'm not inclined to post elsewhere.
