What's the best way ...

...to get every member to check their PMs?

I know the site stopped lighting up the little e-mail icon you see up there in the top right corner.

So, what does it take to get people to check that once or twice a day, without changing the code ATS functions with?

Impossible. This is yet another example of "broken code." There is apparently no money to fix such situations, so your option is to live with it, or buy the site and hire the expertise to fix this and many other issues. Nobody is going to make the little envelope light up like it used to or give you a pop up to tell you like it used to. The site is deteriorating, and unless a Sugar Daddy comes along with deep pockets, it's about to go T.U.

It took me a long time to mash out all of those eeees. Some times there's no appreciation for effort.

Should have put it in your title... "Check Your (effing) ATS PM's".

I imagine there are members here that do not even realize ATS has PM's...

Snarl, your contact idea's are sound. It may just be that the membership all evaporates if our demise happens, but somehow I think Above Top Secret might just be a Hot commodity in disguise and snapped up as investment holdings and continue.

One can hope....

One sure way to get members to check their PM's is to tell them in a thread!

That's the kind of post I expect out of you. I've been complaining about mod interference in posts, but if there;s any post that ought to be deleted, it ls yours. Same with your PM. And this makes post number 15,000 for me. And that's enough.

If ATS is past CPR .......There are/seem to be sufficient people interested

in reviving the concept..... a twin site, so a leader is required, and people

with IT and business skills.

Most of the current membership love ATS and are agreeable to a

donation or fee so there is the possibility for a monetery start up, instead

of the current situation of trying to bring Lazarus back from the dead.


Also if that route is taken the ATS name is probably registered......SO

the 'new' site could be called *Lazrus* which would be ATS back from

the dead
