Stay In Touch, ATS

With the crappy news that ATS will probably be going dark, I thought it would be a good idea for people to be able to stay in touch. Maybe there will be a new site in the future or a site that us ATS'ers will migrate to.

I know we cannot post our info in an open thread BUT if anyone would like to stay connected via email, you could always send me a PM *AHEM* I mean....erm.... use our wicked cool telepathy.

I set up a separate email just for this purpose. It would be cool to have a big email chain of ATS members.

I love all you crazy bastards, even the ones I don't ever agree with and I would be sad if I never got to be a sarcastic dick with you guys ever again.

Tried a discord server awhile back but didn't gain legs. I hope we can figure this out and keep ats

If we lose ATS... I really don't know where I'll go... or if I'll go anywhere at all. I have no alternatives and I refuse to settle...

I'll probably take it as a sign I need to move on to other endeavors as well.

I second this !!

There were a handful of sites that I used to perouse other than our beloved ATS a number of years back.

These all got worse over time, invasive advertising, had to navigate layout not to mention a certain site where seemingly every thread's comments started with "If you believe in the Lord" or similar.

I've avoided these for a long time now, solely concentrating on ATS for my daily fix.

Yes, it may not be what it used to be but it works.

I seriously hope ScepticOverlord and his Pals can find a solution for this, yes, even a subscription model works. Maybe General Chit Chat available for free and other forums accessed on a subscription basis.

I'm keeping my fingers,arms,legs and toes crossed.

The thing I'll miss most is getting news or information that is not being posted in Manu other places.

Alternative news I guess.

It's hard to keep track of everything and this is where I come to find the off the main trail information.

Agreed. I'll also miss most of the members. It's a weird kinda internet friend / family thing. That's why I hope a lot of people can stay in touch and find each other in other corners of the internet in the future.
