Strat Boogie

Here's a little tune that hasn't gotten very much play in the 13 years it's been up on YouTube. Wonder what it would take to get it beyond the 10K count?



I've got another good guitar piece for you in a bit. More commercial ... but I like it.

As far as views go, there aren't many of us that enjoy instrumental guitar if the guitarist isn't named Satriani or Vai. It doesn't surprise me that independents don't get airplay.

Man, in that first video the dude is just a complete poser AMATEUR!!

I walk in the room and a Strat just bursts into flames and melts (for fear I might actually try to play it, or cause feral cats to attack!)

Is it what you are trying to say..is that the Strat, is simply one of the best, if not the best, even in it's simplest form.

Just a beautiful sound, much of it, I think due to the implementation of a Spanish style bridge, rather than Italian which, IHMO spoils the sound of other very good guitars. Brilliant concept from the word go!

It is a very playable instrument ... and anyone can see it has withstood the test of time.

I did have a Les Paul I truly favored once upon a time.

Switching gears ...

I would not call this a "boogie", but I love playing my strat. I learned this arrangement of "Georgia on My Mind" from brilliant guitarist Mark Hanson. If I may be immodest, I will leave this video here. Perhaps someone will enjoy it. I mess up at the end and drop an eff bomb so if you're around your kids or at work or you're offended by such, perhaps it's best to pass.
