Text Size and Color Tutorial help please

Please give a tutorial on how to make the text LARGE ie. 1 through 6 and How to add color to that text both combined.... please in other words using both size and color together.

Tutorial:

You click on what you want just the same as with the other icons. A box pops up asking you to type in what text you want to put in formatting.

If you do it after the fact, just type in a blank or garbage and mark the stuff in the brackets with your mouse, grab it and move it to the places you want.
