Rampant and Shunned
Smoke in my eyes when there is no fire;
Voices in my head when there is no sound;
Taste in my mouth when there is no flavor;
Senses and sensibility when there is no reason,
Changes in the weather when there is no season;
Calmness from chaos when there is no cure,
Reasoning and seasoning just to be sure,
Rampant and shunned with no way to secure,
Crime and passion like a drink they will stir,
Endless and not painless they will endure,
With a clang and a clink unlike manure;
A cell for life is what will be the course,
Never to be contained by the source,
Only feelings and emotions of remorse.
