golden age of invention
I wouldn't go THAT far.
They didn't have even the most rudimentary computers. No television. No synthesizers. They couldn't play mp3 files. They couldn't watch youtube
videos. They couldn't make pixel art and animation. They didn't have movies.
It might've been a 'golden age' of many things, but _INVENTION_ of all things? How about Nikola Tesla's inventions? (the radio, for example - and if
you want to say the M-word at this point, RESEARCH this first, please) How about airplanes? Electric cars?
If you think of 'the best inventions' of the world, RENAISSANCE is not the age your mind goes to, unless there's inventionally something wrong with
your mind.
