Chauvin and Floyd previously worked together .

People say the other cops should have stopped him, but he probably had seniority on them and was one of the Alpha cops...nobody may have dared challenge him because of how his attitude was. He was also on the force for over eighteen years, not many newer guys are going to challenge what he does.
