Could be an Irish Biker thing…

After staring at the image...I got to thinking those boots look like Leprechaun boots lol

I also found this example of a Leprechaun Hat Cricket



Saint Patricks Day is on the 17th of March, so that plus the fact he’s holding a drink suggests some kind of celebration…
