Cool sniper game

Ummm...hello peeps...

I’m currently playing a very cool sniper game...”Ghost Warrior Sniper Contracts”...by CI games...

This isn’t a true simulator game...but it gets kinda close with bullet drop and windage quasi calculations...the learning curve is good...

I like the fact that your scope/mask also function as spotter/tag/range finder.

I’m having a lot of fun with long range head shots...just be prepared for heads exploding in the cut scene...

Are any of you playing this game...and if so...how do you like it...?

I do wish it was an open world rather than strictly contract oriented like...“Ghost Warrior Sniper3”...(which I also bought for the plague lockdown boredom)...though I’m fairly certain CI Games will have numerous contract add-on’s to further flesh out the game.

I suggest you start out as a marksman until you get the mechanics down...cause standard Sniper is a challenge...can’t wait to try the elite setting...
There’s also the standard multiplayers with quick play...death match...and team death match...along with a create game function...

Anywho...just thought I’d bring some joy...in the form of much dead headshot electrons...

What are you playing on? Is it pc only? Sounds cool for sure.

Do you have a special controller for this game sir? I'm sure you wouldn't use a mouse to pull off a shot.

All the really cool graphics you might like...with a damn cool bullet path cutscene when you fire a good shot...

With the inverted Y axis...for character and drone...natch...

I played an earlier release years back on the PS3 I think. It was a good game.

Sniper Elite 4 for the win, my friend. X-ray views of long range bullets to Nazi testicles... you can't teach that.

I've looked it up. There have been 4 games so far.

They all look pretty good.

Ummm...I was checking out Sniper Elite 4...and decided to...ahem...pull the trigger...on Sniper Contracts instead...

Now you’ve done it...

Now I’m going to have to...ahem...bite the bullet...and get Sniper Elite 4...

Sniper elite is way better.
Ghost warrior has always been a hot mess, I'm not giving them any of my money out of principal .
No one should pay for something so janky.

Ummm...with the exception that...I’m a first person shooter kind of guy...

3rd person...is just soooo...un-personal...IMO...

Sniper Contracts is a first person shooter game...Sniper Elite is third person...


Like when I play a flight sim...I’ve got to have my...”camera view”...in the cockpit...looking out...
Which is why I always invert the Y axis as well...I’ve just got to have a more pseudo realistic experience...

Which I don’t get by following a character around some distance behind...

I know a real sniper. He murdered people from several km away after hiding for weeks in the desert. He kinda went a bit nuts and got hooked on heroin for a while in an Asian country afterwards. He's more normalish now but still kinda #ed. I don't think it's good for your mental health making people's heads explode from miles away, at least from what i've heard.

Ummm...yeah...I can almost guarantee I’d have some issues if it were the for reals...

However...being as it’s only some electron paint on a screen...then it’s actually kinda fun...

Not to mention...I’m not burning through any of my 308 rounds for my...ahem...”varmint rifle”...while all locked down...

Sooooo...it’s all good...

I’m usually a 1st person guy myself, much better for immersion.
But sniper elite is one of the few 3rd person games I really enjoy.

Next time sniper elite 3 is on special, grab it and you’ll see what I mean.

The game is purely built on stereotypes, but it’s done in an entertaining way.
