These Kids Rock

We all know who Tommy Shaw is. [ Lead singer for Styx for those who don't ]
Apparently he got together with an orchestra of young talent and ROCKS some of their old songs. Some of these kids, you just see them get in to it and when it shows a shot of their parents in the audience, you see the memories come back to them of rockin' to these songs when they were the same age. It's great to see younger people enjoy the same music us " old folks " did.

ETA - Just discovered the name of the orchestra is Contemporary Youth Orchestra.

That was freaking awesome !

That brings a flood of memories for me. Namely the Pieces of Eight album, although this from the Grand Illusion album.

Had an english teacher that would play albums and gave us the lyrics to the songs as a book report. It was awesome !

Thank you for the reminder of bands I haven't listen to in a long time.

We need more of this.
