I did notice though that I've had some lovely talks with people I normally wouldn't. Typically when I ride planes and trains, I don't engage in conversation beyond small talk.

This time I engaged in a few good conversations.

To my surprise, everyone I talked to seemed skeptical about the measures taken for this 'pandemic'. Way too many people have been affected financially, none of them know of anyone who actually got sick beyond a mild cold.

But they are cautious and compliant; nobody wants to go to jail or get kicked off a plane/train for not following the rules (masks/distance/travel limitations)
