I remember an old pop / techno song which was sang by a woman and it had these lyrics before the chorus/breakdown

I am drifting away

And then she would add "everyday". Can't find it

I'm still trawling through memory. The 4-Strings one is also known as Into the night. I'm trying to recall ones that aren't too obscure or underground ( you did say pop). Vocal stuff isn't my strong point and a lot of them sound similar to me.

Any more clues???

Still trying but it would be helpful if you could say, roughly, how old?

You say techno/pop. Was it a House sound with lots of piano or more of a minimal sound?

It will keep me up all night now!

Maybe some other DJs will chip in but any more clues would help narrow it down for you.

I'd be happy to keep looking if I had a bit more to go on. I've got tons of (now redundant ) trance stuff on vinyl that may help depending on what time frame we're looking for.
