It is stated on the John Titor homepage reguarding a certain question:

"Is propane still around in the future?"
-
"Yes but not very much of it comes from natural gas. Hydrogen is converted into propane because it's easier to handle."

Hydrogen was recommended by President George Busch in 2004. He was going to use it for future use.

How would this man know about this when it was officially annouced in 2004? I mean he must be very correct for future planning ahead of president annoucements for Florida?

*************************
PRESIDENT ANNOUNCES FREEDOM FUEL INITIATIVE IN STATE OF THE UNION ADDRESS

In his State of the Union address, President Bush announced a $1.2 billion FreedomFUEL Initiative, saying "America can lead the world in developing clean, hydrogen-powered automobiles." The President proposed "a new national commitment, [in which] our scientists and engineers will overcome obstacles to taking these cars from laboratory to showroom - so that the first car driven by a child born today could be powered by hydrogen, and pollution-free." FreedomFUEL would invest $720 million in new funding over the next five years to develop the technologies and infrastructure needed to produce, store, and distribute hydrogen for use in fuel cell vehicles and electricity generation. Combined with the FreedomCAR (Cooperative Automotive Research) Initiative, President Bush is proposing a total of $1.7 billion over the next five years to develop hydrogen-powered fuel cells.

Through partnerships with the private sector, FreedomFUEL and FreedomCAR would seek to develop new vehicle and fuel technologies and infrastructure needed to make it practical and cost-effective for large numbers of Americans to choose to use fuel cell vehicles by 2020. If successful, these initiatives would dramatically reduce the need for imported oil. These initiatives are also key components of the President's clean air and climate change strategies.

More information on the Freedom Fuel Initiative can be found at: www.eren.doe.gov...

Excuse me, but this John Titor character as I read it said:

hydrogen is converted into propane

it did not predict:

- the president is going to do an official anouncement about investing into hydrogen fuel for cars.

Furthermore, the president did not officially anounce:

hydrogen is converted into propane

And he shouldn't be! because reformers usually work the other way around, stripping propane from carbon to make hydrogen on the flye. kinda hard to reform hydrogen into propane without hydrogen having carbon (was this guy posting under the nickname John Titor not paying attention to the details when he read all those articles of emerging technology on space.com and zdnews back in late 2000 ?)

Propane fuel cell has been into science and preudoscience certainly since the late nineties. I haven't seen yet anything shocking in ANY of John Titor revelations or things he couldn't have known.

As time goes by, inconsistencies in his predictions seems to grow rather than to converge.

In Florida (Wich where I live) the President George W. Busch annouced on television about it. DONT tell me he didnt cause I watched that day and I just gave you a local government website!

Busch didnt say Hydrogen into propane but replacing the original gas systems (Titor mentioned converting that Hydrogen into propane)

"Propane fuel cell has been into science and preudoscience certainly since the late nineties."

But not for Hydrogen. Hydrogen was created here in Florida! www.dep.state.fl.us...

If you care to read my posts carefully you would notice I didn't state:

- the president didn't anounce anything hydrogen,

I stated:

1. John Titor did not predict the president announcing ANYTHING
2. the presidential itselve announcement did not contain a referrence about the conversion of hydrogen into propane

People have been talking about hydrogen since the 80's, this guy posting under the nickname John Titor starts talking about it in 2001, I think he is kinda late to jump on the bandwagon and Bush is even later, only now that OilPeak is coming and also there is a need for hybrid systems to give the Bradley and the Hummers and other defense vehicles more torque wit lower speeds and also a souce of electricity to attach new fancy laser weapons, Bush suddenly "discovers" fuel cell technology, big deal.

Here is my advice to John Titor theorists:

- > start a civil war and block the coming Olympics, that way at least SOME predictions would fulfill themselves.

and BTW: i am a big fan of hydrogen, just not of false prophets and since you asked me politly, I will get out of your thread...

I think this discussion could have been continued maturely...

The problem is...most mature people see Titor for the fraud that he is and will apply this website's motto when some refuse to entertain logic and grasp every last stitch trying to keep Titor afloat.
