This guy makes his own, but if you use otc hooch, it needs to be 60% to 90% or it either does nothing or won't permeate the cell properly..

Most distillers sell there heads ( 'foreshots')for things like hand Sanitizers.

Heads have methanol and other volatiles.

And alcohol and chlorine make chloroform...using specific amounts...but is rather toxic in any ratio.

1 gallon apple cider

1 gallon apple juice

6 cinnamon sticks (3 inch)

1 1/2 cups white sugar (or to taste)

1 liter grain alcohol (190 proof, such as Everclear™)

This is where my everclear goes, at least till I can rummage up a still.

I hear that mate, best not to be mixing any dangerous or toxic chemicals together, whatever there ratio, unless properly trained to do so, and with the correct safety equipment at hand as it could end in disaster.

Would hydrofluoric acid not be a decent compromise? Surely it would kill the organism.
