This information was really alarming.
There are VERY tight restrictions on this
article so I can't excerpt much.

Terri Schiavo was ILLEGALLY moved ... medicare fraud ....
all sorts of information on underhanded activities by the
attorney and hubby-dearest.

Excerpt -

Schiavo Attorney Felos No Stranger To Medicare Fraud
The Empire Journal
March 11, 2005

Five years ago this month, Florida’s most vulnerable adult was
transferred without court order and without the proper written
certification to the Hospice of Florida Suncoast at Woodside in
Pinellas County.

Go to the site to read TONS of info that can't be excerpted here -

This case just gets darker and more sinister as each stone is unturned.

Just as an aside, I find it hard to beleive that her husband is doing this out of money concerns. He's been offered 10 million dollars to leave her on life support. He turned it down.

He was just again offered a million dollars from one person to keep her alive. He turned it down.

He spent all the $$$ on himself that was supposed to go to
physical therapy. It is my belief that he turned down the
millions offered to him now, because he wants her dead.
Dead so she can't talk and tell what happened to her.
Dead so she can't talk about what he has done to her while she's
been incapacitated. Dead so she will be out of the way and he
can get married to the woman he's been living with and having
children with, without fear of her saying anything that will throw
him in jail.

Nygdan ... it's not life support she's on. It's just a feeding tube.
She isn't on a breathing machine nor a heart machine. She breathes
just fine. Her heart is beating just fine. She's responsive too.

I wasn't aware one needed a "court order" to move your wife.

Guess the religious right will have the feds after me any day now for moving Mom home to die.

This "most vulnerable adult" stuff is very double speak, intrusive, big government and scary.

Call me old fashioned and conservative but your spouse, minor children, parents, etc. are your responsibility and the decisions are at your leisure in these situations.

Or are home schooled children "America's most vulnerable minors" too?

The hand wringing knitting clubs and insincere "leaders" riding the wave of outrage need a life, and not Terri's.

Hey ya Rant. The article explains the paper process. Indeed,
hubby-dearest didn't get the paperwork done, the filing, the medical
exams, or anything else. Terri is on medicare and there
are medical exams and petitions that have to be done in order for
someone to be considered 'terminally ill' so medicare will pay the bill.
Obviously he knows Terri isn't terminal and he didn't want the
medical exams done. He is screwing medicare with false info and
continuing to pull the wool over people's eyes in regards to just
how 'bad' off Terri really is.

Read the article. It has tight restrictions so I can't post the info.

Uh.. no. You
aren't collecting medicare under false pretenses. (R U??) However
I will say that I think it's admirable of you to be taking care of your
mom while she is in her final days. I don't know if I qualify for
'the religious right' or if I'm just a tad right of center, but let me say
that I admire folks who bring home their parents to help them die.
My best friend did that for her parents (cancer). I had the honor
of helping her with her mom. A beautiful soul she was!

I thought the left was out to help society as a whole? It seems
to me that those who can't speak or help themselves in society
ARE the most vulnerable. In an effort to keep the government out of
our business (which I FULLY appreciate, REALLY!) .. don't forget
that sometimes they have to get into our business in order to help
those who can't help themselves. Terri is one of those. She arrived
at her condition under a cloud of mystery. Her health care since has
been dismal (lack of dental care has turned her teeth black and many
have fallen out, etc.). Her husband's actions are suspect. etc etc

No, the preborn children in the womb are. But that's a fodder for
a different thread, isn't it?

Excellent pro-adoption video. (ought to give you a morning jolt!)

since he did turn down the 10 million dollars.

that tells you 3 things..

1.he most likely the reason why the state she is in.
2.his life insurance he has on her is more than 10 million dollars
3.he wants her to shut up and die before she gains any reasonable speech and positive thinking.

her husband gives me the chills he is nothing but bad news the guy is real dick head.

Yes, the advancement of society. The greater good. Which in this case could be argued from a number of angles from the complete irresponsibility of massive energies, monies and concern over every zygote and vegetable to the more fundamentally important protections of spousal rights, medical privacy, and the civil liberties of the living not to the exclusion of Mr. Schiavo, his pursuit of happiness and stated religious beliefs over divorce and remarriage.. all of which (in my book) aren't subject to inspection or democratic vote by peers.

At the very crux of all this is a supposition of belief as to what Terri would want. As it stands now, no matter what we might think, he speaks for her. Should the fruits of the invasive witch hunt (a very dangerous precedent) ever actually yield anything to validate the suspicions of many that he's a bad guy (see your article), it still doesn't change the fundamental issues being tested here.

And so we go to motive. Not his. But "mine" and "yours" (figuratively).

Mine (in support of the husband) is not without root in sympathy for any parties involved, not the least of which are Terri. But you know what sympathy and 50 cents will get you. I'm concerned with the rule of law, spousal rights, civil liberties, religious freedoms of the individual involved, the harmful precedent of invasive busy bodies and PAC's, and any form of government succumbing to the pressure of grassroots movements to overturn any of the above (be they religious or otherwise).

So as not to put words in the mouth of your position (in support of the parents of the adult married woman), aside from any emotion or sympathy whatsoever, what is it exactly from a legal standpoint and what precedent do you seek?

And if the intrinsic value of life (any life in any form) is part of the premise, I submit that's also an ulterior motive, making the save Terri groups every bit as suspect of motive as Mr. Schiavo.

BOTTOM LINE...

Mr. Schiavo has MUCH more to gain financially (such as the offers of millions mentioned above) by simply divorcing her and allowing the parents to keep her alive.

There is almost NO chance of Terry "coming out of it and spilling all"
after 15 YEARS of being comatose and partially brain damaged....so little fear there...

Seeing as how Terry's death wouldn't benefit him financially, I see no logical reason to doubt his sincerity that he is endeavoring to see that her wishes are carried out. We show more compassion for a dog putting it to sleep than has been shown to Terry. If money were the goal, he could have accepted the millions and said, "fine, you deal with her" and gone on his happy way as people....she ain't coming out of it...

Being a local story (I live in Tampa Bay), I've seen info about this case from day 1 over all these years...and folks, people need to let this poor woman go...imho....

Honestly I really don't care, its a matter between her husband and the hospital, but the guy obviously isn't interested in the money.

Hubby-dearest had a history of violence.
Terri Schiavo has a history of physical trama.
Terri wanted a DIVORCE and said so just prior to her 'collapse'.

www.spiritdaily.com...

A woman who was worse off than Terri tells that she heard
everything that was said around her, and that people tried
to mercy-kill her off by starvation too. She went through
8 days of agony before having her feeding tube rehooked up.
She's fine now.

www.lifesite.net...

Terri has been starved and saved twice already. My God ...
just give the woman her food and get her some physical
therapy. The money for her physical therapy was spent
by the husband on other things - HIS things.

Hubby-dearest is up to his eyeballs in an anti-Terri conspiracy.

OH ... and it's against international law to starve a person to death.
War time, peace time, medical reasons, whatever ... it's against the law.
