Norway closes its borders and airports & ports for all foreigners, trade still allowed

The Norwegian Prime Minister just announced that Norway closes all its borders, airports, and ports for all foreigners - import & export of goods is not affected. Norwegians abroad will be allowed to return.

Doesn’t letting Norwegian citizens back in remove the entire point of closing the borders?

Pretty sure they will still be screened.

Seems sensible.
Should stay that way too for a while and never go back to easy movement of people.
Proper checks and screening for those that want to travel internationally.

My thoughts too, closed borders and border health screenings is probably the norm worldwide now and for decades to come. Lessons learned the hard way, I guess.

Any European country that has seen Italy should do this immediately.

Won't close borders to immigrants, but will close for virus(Foreign policy).
Won't clean up your own act, starts cleaning up act because of virus(public transits).
Won't prepare for inevitable, but start preparing when there is a virus(preparations for prevention and reduction of casualties.).
Won't listen to warnings, start preparing for warnings for viruses(No space tech for the public, etc).

When Aliens come down here, it'll be too late to react, oh western lifestyle.
