You might wish to look into something called "The Spanish Flu" which ran rife around 100 years ago and managed to wipe out the better part of 100 million people across the globe.

And the only laboratory that came from belonged to nature.

we have moved on and have better hygeine and drugs against influenza. Spanish flu nowadays would be nothing.

Super strains don't just appear like this nowadays.

yes the world has better hygeine and drugs. but the vaccines are not 100% effective. many thousands still get the flu even after getting shots or taking tamaflu. do a little research and look up how many people caught the flu and died in 2019/ 2020 flu season.
